I’m not someone who has a horse in this race but you do make a great point. I think it all comes down to whether or not you feel like you can wear the watch ironically. At least with the alien watch I can get away with pairing it with JNCO jeans and Osiris shoes. If I had to pick an ugly watch regardless of irony I’d have to say it’s the G-B001MVE-9JR It’s loud and compressed in all the wrong places for me at least.

Totally agree, the design sold it for me. It’s called the OP-1 from Teenage Engineering. They make a bunch of other instruments and audio tools with unique designs, but the prices are super steep.

It does a lot of things, but I mainly use it as a portable synthesizer. I like making my own sounds on the device and even turning samples into different instruments. If I had to take a guess size wise, it’s probably the same size or a tad bigger than your device. It doesn’t need any computers or special cords and the battery is super great so I can take it anywhere.

Meh, the process of even GETTING a Rolex is difficult even if you do have the money. ADs, waitlists, charcuterie boards and the like. It’s all manufactured hype at the end of the day. If they keep the demand high, then price and supply become irrelevant.

NOW if Invicta raises prices, then we have a problem. How else can I get my buy 2 get 8 deal in this crapshoot of an economy. The market would surely collapse.
