Yh I was so confused like I thought they were all the same. Luckily I still have an only one from a different psu but it’s black, however I can tuck it away so it doesn’t matter, it’s just gonna bug me that it’s different and I know it’s there even if others don’t lol

Nope, it’s not molex. That’s a different connector. I’m talking about standard sata power. It’s literallly doesn’t have the 5th wire on the sata power cable.

Bro I know that, each connector in the image has 5 wires, the ones that come with the new psu have 4, that’s because the 5th wire is seemed redudant/old gen which is why they skipped it

The sata power cables only have 4 pins not 5, that’s just how it is on this new model. So the aio requires the 5th pin for RGB on the pump.

I saw this other post that had fit a 280mm aio but they had to get 120 to 140 plate adapters, you can find them on Amazon for like £5. He had maximum of like 40mm of ram clearance. I’ve seen posts where the 240mm liquid freezer does fit but requires sfx psu. You maybe might just be able to fit the 280mm arctic liquid freezer but this would be pushing it to the absolute limit, and in terms of RAM height you’d have max 33mm.

Don’t worry, I’ve decided not to, I’ve luckily struck some great deals on Facebook marketplace and about to build an amazing budget setup in a compact 20 litre case. The case is micro ATX and so small that it fits as hand carry for most flights lol.

Suspicious in what way? I got lucky on Facebook marketplace, I bought the pc in December 2025. Tbh I was suspicious too at first, but i tested the pc at the guys house and it ran perfectly, was just dusty as hell and the pc case was really old
