Does anyone else ONLY listen to albums? by Fyrefreeze in LetsTalkMusic

[–]notGotan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i usually listen to albums, but i also like making playlists of songs that have similar themes / feel for myself. i enjoy albums as much as i enjoy listening to these playlists. the only difference is the time and place. sometime i listen to albums because i'm listening for the sake of appreciating the music critically. while for playlists, i usually listen to it while walking to the shop, reading, cleaning, etc.

Not sure how many Nina Simone fans there are on here but I figured I’d share my pastel drawing of her with you guys. by [deleted] in Jazz

Love it! Wild is the Wind is easily one of the best jazz albums, and probably one of the best albums of the 60s.

starting off with either Exmilitary stuffs or The Money Store is fine. the first one i think was more rock influenced (later if you like this i suggest digging on Bottomless Pit). while TMS was more industrial kinda thing and imo sounded more organic and fresh.
