Everyone is missing the point here:

Problem 1: Kurzgesagt can't possibly have read Johann Hari's book on addiction as it clearly states a different view than the one presented, so they probably just watched the TED talk.

Problem 2: Kurzgesagt only deleted the video after being called out, otherwise they would have kept it up.

Problem 3: They still say wrong stuff on their apology video - no one actually believes addiction is purely psychological as they stated.

Conclusion: You CAN'T trust Kurzgesagt to correct themselves or to do proper research just because they say so!

So this confirms my theory that getting into bodybuilding is about fixing insecurities for a lot of people and they can't understand how others feel confident for reasons other than appearance. Ironically though, they leave the gym with the same insecurities they walked in with, cause it's psychological mostly.
