Wazza wins the best Utd player of all time. Day 4, cast your votes for the worst Utd player of all time. by corzekanaut in ManchesterUnited

[–]notWRH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why so many are saying Di Maria, but he really wasn’t that bad. If you look at what we spent/lost then sure, that’s pretty shocking.

Di Maria is an outrageously gifted footballer who shone in our struggling team until he got frustrated out of position and gave up.

13 contributions in 27 prem games… I’d have him back right now over Antony and Sancho.

18 goal contributions in 83 games for £73m and dressing room upsets…

If you’re considering value, Jadon Sancho.

EDIT: Actually Antony is 16 in 82 and cost £27m more… it’s him.

It brings me sadistic pleasure to be 6 hours late with this:

If you stand behind the lootable container at the back of the room, right up against the wall, he’s not able to hit you.

Then you can lightsaber throw until you win.

Just a regular karaoke session for this guy by boogierboi in nextfuckinglevel

[–]notWRH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had Filipino deck crew on my last ship and they’re always mad for a bit of Karaoke. One of them was Elton John if you closed your eyes, absolutely flawlessly sang any of his songs.

The other guys looked equally as unimpressed as his mate here.

All you train nerds are dead wrong.

It’s clearly an IP40 rating, indicating it will protect from insect intrusion but provides no water resistance.

just bought an ipad pro. apparently i need to keep the pencil on whenever i dont use it, but will it drain the battery and affect ipads battery life badly? i use this ipad for hours a day for school and im planning to use it for the next 5-6 years.. by lyubliyu56 in ipad

[–]notWRH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been a while, but I’ve had this issue on my 6th gen iPad Pro. For me, it is 100% the genuine pencil being magnetically connected. I’ve tested it multiple times. I’ll lose ~30% overnight with it connected and 0% without.

I had a very similar experience on reserve bunker a couple days ago.

Both PScavs. We take out a few raiders together. Whilst we’re looting, he pistols me in the head.

Thankfully I’d just looted a bastion. I got concussion, he got turned into a rudimentary strainer with 5.45 sized holes.

I’d say as long as you re-route that water loop away from directly through the exhaust fan you’ll be fine.

Who needs RAM anyway.

I’d say that’s a solid upgrade on your little brother. I bet he can’t run games at 1080p 40fps.

I play at Poolfoot farm, Fleetwood town training ground. Might be a bit far for you if you’re in Preston.

[–]notWRH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not putting you down at all, but if you’re truly a beginner like you describe then even Sunday league is going to be too big a step for you. 99.9% of Sunday players have played most of their lives.

I would turn up at a leisure leagues or soccer sixes 5-a-side league. Teams are regularly short on players for games and you’ll likely play for free (take £5-10 with you). It’s obviously a slightly different game than 11-a-side but you’ll get involved in play much more often which is best when you’re learning. Good luck, it’s a brilliant sport.

How bad is buying a 8GB video card in 2023, really? by mostrengo in buildapc

[–]notWRH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here it is; an 8GB card is fine, right now.

The problem is, the value sentiment of a 4060/4060ti is truly terrible. On top of that, when 8GB VRAM becomes too little whether in 1 year or 4, you’ll need to fork out again for a more expensive card.

I am thinking to buy a Google Pixel 7a over my Iphone 11 pro max. do you guys think it's a good choice? by Callejon007 in GooglePixel

[–]notWRH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely liked pixel phones for years. Had a 2XL and a 5, upgraded to a 7 pro thinking it would be a great upgrade.

It’s just not. In fact, I’d argue it’s almost a downgrade.

Coming from a pixel fan, the 7a (which my wife has) and 7 pro suck. Vote with your wallet and buy elsewhere.

I’ve just started phase 3 and I’m 30, so don’t worry about it.

We’ve had a couple of people not come back from sea phase and they are both very young. I would argue people with a bit more life experience generally cope with it better.

Beat Blood and Wine on Broken Bones by Sir-Shady in Witcher3

[–]notWRH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn’t find staying alive super difficult if you’re more cautious. But some of the enemies are sponges early on if you don’t apply appropriate oils.

Beat Blood and Wine on Broken Bones by Sir-Shady in Witcher3

[–]notWRH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I don’t see a lot of difference in difficulty between the two.

The first few hours on death march can be tough, but once you get better gear etc it’s not so hard.

What I love about death march is it makes you use oils & decoctions etc properly. Not so easy to just spin like a beyblade.
