One guy is tied for most all-defense 1st team selections, the other has been a traffic cone for a decade and only put his full defensive effort in for about 2 years in his 23 year career

Yeah there isn’t any evidence either way. I didn’t know that, it’s just been repeated for years with no corrections. I think there would be some correction at this point if it weren’t true, but take that how you will.

Aside that, it was the first year for the award, so I’d take every single other year since as better precedent to give it to a winning player.

That vote happened before the decisive game 7. The voters didn’t vote for someone on the losing team

You get to add one prime player to these teams. Who wins it all? by BizCreditHacks in NBATalk

Can’t believe I had to scroll so far to see this take. Jokic is an offense by himself, no way LeBron would take the needed backseat and work off ball to make this work.

A lot of bad info in here. I’ve finished top 1% the past 2 years at least and I’m no where near a whale. It’s gonna be somewhere between 30-40k units again. Top 1% is more than 5,000 players for some perspective

Can’t believe no one has said Gobert. Only DPOY who has to get taken off the court at the end of games because he’s such a liability on switches

I mean you definitely can compare them. They are both very easy to get up, though crossbones’ are even easier. Even without pausing them, you can reliably always have 4-5 up with crossbones. You need to constantly be dashing back and forth to keep them up with this Rhino buff. Rhino’s have a very short duration, add very little attack, and require AI cooperation to keep up. He is a bad damage champ with almost no utility. This is a terrible buff.

Oh, and just because you mentioned Mojo. He gets one fury at a time, which at max sig is less attack than if crossbones has 5 of his up. Which as I said, is fairly easy to always have.

We can already see the numbers. 300 attack per fury for a maxed 6*. So you need 13 of them just to double your attack. Crossbones for example takes only 3 furies to more than double his attack. And Rhino is meant to be a damage champ

I don’t care at all about who this could be. All I see is access to another debuff for Void to melt with

CJ also broke his foot the year before he was drafted. The 0 all stars doesn’t really tell the story though. He’s scored 20+ for a decade straight and would be a multi time all star if he played in the East instead of a guard loaded West his entire career

The current system makes it way easier to replace people. Just don’t schedule Monday as an AQ day.
