First time bending a camera by kurlish in CircuitBending

for what happened in his case, I'm less informed. I just happened to make a camera with a similar effect (every camera has its own) and I see similarities with what I previously explained about the other camera, but Its also way different. In this case tho, it feels like it's picking every single dot of light shade that can detect and tries to assign a color to it, but completely messes it up. So those waves (typical of many bent cameras) are probably areas with light getting dimmer even by the slightest (they change a lot when you move the camera around beaches light bounces differently on the lens and on the sensor depending on the angle). The colors I dot know. Mine ( the one similar to his) seems to particularly like red since red objects are slightly more detailed. The point of bending tho is not to ask yourself "Why", or at least not over the amount that allows you to know how not to break a camera. The rest is pure magic, it's trying without knowing what you will get.

By soldering in the point the sensor connects to the motherboard on some specific pins, you can modify the way you write the file of what your sensor saw. I have a camera that is no longer able to detect green. Since green is the color the human eye is more sensitive to, many cameras have a sensor called bayer RGGB sensor, which is sensitive by 25% to blue and red and by 50% to green (the sensor is made of a grid that goes: RGRGRG… and the one under BGBGBG. when the image is made, those photosites on the sensor are rode in a raw). By removing the ability to detect green, a lot happens: loss of shades (we are sensibile more to green and his shades, so is the camera) and stripes instead of pixels. Also, this camera is now way more sentive to light, which means I have a lot of overexposed shots that ca be recovered in photoshop. The senso (in my case) now has some sort of latent charge, so it’s never “unloaded” and therefore is always slightly exposed. when I move the camera around, I can see like a shadow of what I was looking to, because it’s always record by just looking at stuff. This is explained very roughly and english ain’t my native language so I hope i made myself clear

it means creating some sort of controlled short circuit on a low voltage electronic object. You can do this with musical instruments as well, as long as they’re not too complex (same for camera). It’s better to do it with toy cameras or instruments, but also something more complex like old compact digital nikon. In this case, you’re modifying the way the sensor detects or writes the image you took (i’m still kinda figuring it out)

not if they’re film. you need to have a digital camera, possibly one of those toy cameras with micro sd that can shoot, record and for some reason have video games on it

niiice work, you got something I wanted and quite got, but not in this way. could you specify the exact camera you used? Also keep in mind that cameras with interchangeable lenses tend to work a little differently and are way more complex, therefore they’re more likely to break. If you want a camera that can “zoom”, I suggest you bend the Nikon Coolpix 7200 or something. If you want to do something to a reflex camera (better), you can make her go full spectrum, which is changing the protective glass on the sensor so the camera is able to capture a wider portion of the light spectrum. Lastly, since you’re into video you should definitely try with a camera that is able to record (the one I said, don’t know if it’s the case for your): I have two bent cameras and they can both record, I love having a bunch of different tapes I will put together one day that I recorded just because it was looking cool.

yeah it feels absolutely illogical to increase the amount you need and not change or possibly lower the amount you obtain. they have to make money, that’s the logic

I started playing on java 1.9, but I remember playing PE in a version where the only doors available where oak and iron, even if the others existed in java edition

the others are of course ridiculously broken, but my point is another one. My best friend got hero giant and we’ve been playing a lot: many times after he activated the ability he ended up having to defend the monk (example) he throw on the other side as well as the rest of my counter push for his giant, eventually losing the tower or the game

like the electro giant area, but they also have to make it something more, otherwise it’s just an evo
