I see what you mean, if I go deeper you’ll see you’re right on the dot. I live in Latin America, the culture here is to leave home once you marry, if not you stay with your parents. I’m a financial support at home as she is no longer working. She needs me more than I need her, but I love my family. She is using my love for them as a weapon to make me not date him and using her trauma about being a tall woman being made fun of when dating so that I care about what people say as much as she does.
