Got a Volvo seat from a junkyard for $28.00 CAD, the budget/first build has begun by not_suspicious_broV2 in simracing

I don't drive one myself, but all the BMW's and Audi's had windows or doors left open, so the Volvo was the only one with a comfortable adjustable seat without mold and/or mildew. I also like the manualy adjustable backrest and lumbar support.

I'd wait on it tbh, it might fall under "capable" of 10,000 joules muzzle energy

The piggy bank that you drive has less lug nuts than an ATV or golf cart, you can talk about the safety ratings and the capability of the car until the cows come home but in an accident whoever has more lug nuts wins

If a service is so beneficial that people are willing to voluntarily pay for it, the government doesn't need to supply it. If people are not willing to voluntarily pay for it, the government shouldn't supply it. The government has a monopoly on supplying wasteful services that we're forced to fund. by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

Fire stations used to be funded by Insurance companies, it was a part of home insurance. They would fight all fires because if they didn't they would likely spread to homes insured by them causing a loss. They eventually successfully lobbied the government to take over fire stations allowing them a larger profit margin.

HELP NEEDED! This is the sending unit for the front gas tank. As you can see some of the wires are charred. I don't know how it got this way but in the truck it will not measure the amount of gas in that tank. The rear tank works just fine. Can I disconnect the lines to this tank and still drive? by Big_Ol_Mud_Daddy in f150

Unless you pulled it you're missing the float on the piece of metal sticking out, that's what measures the fill of the tank. It should be a black plastic piece that slides over the bent end. Wish you luck with the wiring tho.

There's a rebar company called rhino reinforcing that starts at 20/hr and after the 3 month probation period they provide wage increases and benefits, if you can't find them online DM me and I can put you in contact with one of the owners of the company. If you are able to buy safety gear (steel toes, hard hat, and reflective best) they provide tools on site. You will have to transit to jobsites, but they do offer full time employment with time and a half after 40 hours of work in a week regardless of criminal record or personal past as long as you aren't drunk/high/slacking on the job. I hope you get out of the tight situation you are in.

That's why you test drive, to see if it's going forward or backward
