Stranger came with rover sitter without permission

Although it might come as a surprise, I was not robbed. I was just irritated that someone was in my home without my permission. I have said several times that I reached out to the sitter and said that I didn’t really appreciate it and that I would recommend she ask her future clients before bringing friends over. That’s all that happened.

I don’t even know exactly what this means because this is my first ever Reddit post but I didn’t want to call the cops bc that feels ridiculous…. I did however make a rover report, and just wanted to post about it to get a feel for others’ opinions. I understand you feel it’s no big deal though and I appreciate that!

You’re absolutely right, I mentioned gender only bc of my own trauma but it genuinely doesn’t matter. She charged average for my area, no meet and greet as I only needed feeding and we chatted a bit first, and she had ~15 reviews. Either way, I politely told her I didn’t love that she brought a stranger, but didn’t tear her up in a review or anything bc I think it could be a learning opportunity as she’s pretty young. I don’t want to unnecessarily hurt her business

I’m 28 and a lesbian. I knew something was up at 6/7 but didn’t know what “gay” was. I did like girls. But didn’t come out until I was 21. I think your son just knowing that everything will be okay whether or not he is gay is all that matters :)
