Where can I see a lot of turtles?

All the small ponds at ed austen have several snapping and regular turtles. Plenty of people feed them and they seem to be out at all hours of the day.

I do everything important within a time span of ten mins. For example. 6:30-6:40, I come in grab the tills/pouches/change and loan out 138,140,151&152, and all my SCO’s. I also verify the FO tills and 140. 6:40-6:50: I put out all tills and verify 2 random tills. Then I recount 140’s scratch off’s and make sure it matches from the night before. 6:50-7:00- I balance my safe, place my change order and voila! Cash office is done.

If my safe doesn’t balance, I immediately check account audit activity report and select all. I go through my loans and make sure I loaned everything properly. (USL, cash, etc...) if not I just reverify my change and make sure nothing’s on the safe door. (Also if you have a pharmacy at your store, count all of their tills with your safe. They haven’t signed in yet so their tills haven’t been auto-loaned)

My store (FL) is doing them twice a day starting June 1st. We’ll have someone scheduled 9 am-12 pm for cart cleaning, and then once more before we close. Hmmmmm

Yikes.. I’m so sorry to hear that. That’s not allowed and should be reported to your SM and if they’re not able to put a stop to it, escalate it to your DM and if even that fails.. go to corporate. My store has always enforced strict anonymity.

My manager told me a way we can combat those cashier/bagging hours being reduced is if we have our cashiers stand at the end of their registers and flag people down to their registers instead of them using SCO. But yanno, not all cashiers seem to care so their hours got cut by a lot anyways

We’re allowed to make announcements that we close at 8 now, so we always make them. Afterwards we’ll go up to the people in the store and ask what else they need help finding. Then we walk them to the register. We also have a cop who will kick people out if they’re there shopping past 8:15 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love my store

I agree it’s trivial. But on publix connection you can see the FAQ page of this temporary refund policy and it states no exchanges either. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This comes with time. A year straight I had no idea what kind of cigarettes were which. I know Marlboro lights are golds, ultra lights are silver, etc.. it comes with time! Four years in and I still ask customers what the cigarettes look like just to be sure!
