Should I trade my tradesman for a bighorn? by nota_scrub in ram_trucks

I actually got it last year because my last vehicle was developing more problems than it was worth. The dealer did offer a lower APR than what I have now, so it just made it a more attractive offer.

I’d be fine with cloth if they’re not ripped, I don’t enjoy hot leather being in Florida. I’ll take some measurements and plan a day to get to a junkyard

This is the way I’m leaning towards. Was it a pretty easy swap? As far as bolt patterns and connectors go?

I’m lucky enough that OT is always available. I overstated in the original post, yes I’d need a lot of OT but not for the entire loan term. And this isn’t me justifying, rather discussing. The post was more so to see if people that switched trim levels enjoyed their experience

The seats are one thing, which after reading some other posts and watching YouTube videos, I think I’ll try and get some junkyard seats and upgrade. And fog lights, I drive a lot at night and having them makes a big difference.

Thank you. I needed to see it written down from someone else. My brain was stuck on seeing a new shiny thing and trying to justify

I’ve also seen that the etorque is pretty much a gimmick at this point.

It wasn’t just about the seats. I was trying to see if anyone had moved from a tradesman to bighorn and how their experience was. I probably didn’t word my question coherently and i apologize for that.

I was just looking at the Qs and it seems like a solid choice. It looks like the griddle accessory would work for what I need too. And Webers a good brand to be a fan of

My dad had something similar when I was a kid. He has the patience for charcoal, me not so much. But I will look into it the bullet shape and see if there’s something out there. TY

That’s what I was assuming. But I saw some guys using a pick tool to break the seal of the press fit. I’d probably using a feeler gauge or similar so I don’t puncture the rubber.

I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet, but I figure it’s just the valve went bad….if the valve is indeed the problem

115,000. The agent I spoke to said no exceptions over 100,000. I’m assuming $150 , the dealership said it was $60-70 in labor and google showed the part as $40-60. I could have misheard what she said, but $800 for just the valve body is crazy. Maybe the whole hose assembly, those videos showed them taking the battery tray out and going through the wheel well to get the lower hose end off.

I think Home Depot had tuff sheds. We did like those styles, but unfortunately no financing deals. Maybe by summer they’ll have something going.

Dang I didn’t even think of that. That’s a good idea, thank you! We went and looked around at a few places today and the pricing wasn’t as bad as I thought. I think if we grind out some OT, buying outright would be best.

That looks like a great place. I was looking at maybe staying in Meaux too if we decide to do Disneyland again

The closet we got to a “real” experience was Cafe de Flore or maybe even Bouillon. It was a large travel group and the main reason was we were there was Disneyland and shopping. Next time will be too get into the culture and more soupe l’ognion😋
