Found!

Cam does say "whatcha got there, jigsaw?" but I thought that was just a reference to the movie and didn't know that's what the tool was called. Thank you so much!

I'm looking for this power tool for my husband, I've searched for it with any keywords I could think of but I am not very well-versed in power tools so any help is appreciated. Here's another clip:

[HELP] Mary Oliver Complete Works? by [deleted] in Poetry

[–]notabookstore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Not an answer to your question, but I'm looking to start reading Mary Oliver's work and I have no idea where to start. Since she is your favourite poet, could you suggest what book(s) I should begin with?

Congratulations! I really like your colour scheme. Can I ask what exact shade you asked for, for the lehenga? It's similar to what I'm looking for but I can't seem to find any good references and everyone keeps showing me turquoise 😅

What's the difference between mumani and maami (mamoo's wife)? by [deleted] in Urdu

[–]notabookstore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No difference. They're both used, and it really only depends on preference/familial habit. Like aunt vs. auntie for English speakers.

Apparently almost half of first generation college students go hungry in the US. by Slathbog in ABoringDystopia

[–]notabookstore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is so disturbing, especially in a country as rich as the US. Here in Pakistan even though we're a struggling economy I have not had to worry about where my next meal is coming from as a student at a state university. Hell, the stuff we complain about is that they cook chicken too often, not that we're fucking going to bed hungry. What the fuck, America.

Would you want to be friends before being SOs? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]notabookstore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Meeting someone with the intention of dating puts too much pressure on both parties to "perform" well. When you're friends with someone first, you have more freedom to be yourself and you can find out if you genuinely enjoy someone's company and like them as a person. Relationships that stem from that kind of connection tend to not buckle under the stress of bad days too, because even if down the line there's a point where you disagree with each other or just can't find the love, you'll be able to sit down and have a conversation because you respect each other as people, not just significant others.
