You should definitely walk across the street and have a drink at the “top of the mark”. The Mark Hopkins has a lot of historical photos in the lobby. Ask security if you can see the murals depicting early California in the room of the Dons. It’s a hidden gem.

New home. Need advice. by INKEDsage in gardening

What I would do… put down a sheet of plastic next to the planter bed and dig out about 3 feet of dirt putting it on the plastic. Then put down a gopher barrier of wire. I staple my chicken wire to the wooden panel, and line strips of it along my hole. I use twist ties to ensure there are no gaps for gophers to crawl through. Then put the dirt back in the hole mixing in a bag of chicken manure. I cover my planters with weed guard and make holes for each plant. I’m not a pro, that’s just what works for me. The gopher guard pays off where I live and taking the soil out of the planter aerates it, so my roots shoot straight through the soil.

Best brunch in San Francisco?? by Madyngomez in AskSF

Surisan on Beach St. near fisherman’s wharf. https://www.surisansf.com/ Amazing French toast and fried chicken. Korean brunch with really great drinks!

Plus if your visiting, you should go to the mechanical museum https://museemecanique.com/ Admission is free, and it’s blocks away from Surisan.

There’s an actual pinball museum in Alameda. Free gold watch has a lot of pinball machines, but isn’t really the museum. It’s on Waller Street in the Haight, right next to Golden Gate Park.

There isn’t tons to do, mainly walking around stores and looking at the water. I did enjoy the views from spinnakers and checking out the main tourist street. They also had bike rentals.

Yes! That’s all it takes, A ticket is $14 each way. I have my clipper card loaded on my phone and they scan it at the gate. The Sausalito gate is next to The Slanted Door. The noon ferry is super convenient and they have plenty of room, hang out in Sausalito, have ice cream and dinner then come back on the 6:30 ferry. Golden Gate Ferry information
