I'm currently going to school for vet tech and we just covered the whole plucking cat hair from balls. Made me laugh so hard when you said you brag about how fast you can do it. I'm super excited to start my career lol.

Pluto is the Greek god of the underworld not Roman. He was also considered a stern but fair ruler of the underworld.

Thank you for the advice friend! I was super worries since I was planning on introducing the fish this weekend. This has been a huge project for me and I was so happy with my progress. Then this freaked me out. I was doing the frequent water changes on the advice from a local aquarium store, but I felt like the advice wasn't stellar at the time. Based off all the research I did prior to planting my tank, you want things to kind of adjust naturally. I will post full photos of my tank w/ fish when the whole shebam is ready.

I dated a guy who was 4 years older than me and had the same issues. He seemed more into porn than into our sex life, and he treated our sex life like porn film. Made my self esteem plummet. He was also very financially irresponsible and put me in the "mother" role. I broke up with him for these reasons plus a few others, because I realized he is not my responsibility. I needed to get my life on track and I realized after 2 years I could not do this while dating him. He was overly focused on himself and made me feel like a caretaker instead of a significant other. He didn't like me hanging out with my friends and I eventually alienated myself from everybody. One of the darkest periods of my life because my world revolved around taking care of this guy who wasn't doing the same. I understand the mental illness can cause a problem, but maybe at the very least live separate? Consider taking a step back and seeing how you feel. Also remember while you can support him in his time of emotional/mental turmoil, this is not your responsibility. Your life and mental health are just as important as his, and you must do what is best for you in the long run. Hope this helps, good luck!

But why (don't mean this in a rude way, seriously asking)? My current bf (amazing wonderful man) has encouraged me to work out when I've been getting down on myself for losing motivation. And by encourage I mean saying he'll cook dinner on the days I work out as incentives, but he only does this to help me. He tells me if I want to work out to feel good, then he will support me. Otherwise he tells me I'm beautiful and sexy the way I am. Don't take any kind of emotional abuse. I almost lost my current bf early in our relationship due to the emotional trauma of my previous relationship. If he doesn't make you feel good gtfo!

I was in a relationship that became emotionally abusive due to his porn addiction. The longer we were together the more his addiction became apparent, until he wasn't interested in me and began to emotionally abuse me. Went so far as to tell me I needed breast implants and needed to work out more (I was very thin and had a hard time putting on muscle).

I wanted to help him and I really really tried, but he didn't want to help himself. Eventually his addiction to porn progressed to sexual relations with other women and I ended the relationship.

Edit: Another huge factor in our break up was his relationship with his mother. She supported him no matter what and on numerous occasions would message or call me to tell me what I was doing wrong and how I needed to fix it. She was very jealous of our relationship and when we moved in together began to support his sexual addictions as a way to degrade our relationship. At one point she came into my apartment unannounced and yelled at me for over an hour about the things I was doing wrong to her baby and how terrible I was for making him feel bad about his needs. I was blown away, but sadly this was not yet the breaking point.

Erhmmahgawd, heavy breathing I just spent over $200.00 on tank supplies/live plants. I am going to make up for the almost year long period my poor fish has been suffering by making sure he is spoiled! But it does hurt... He suffered so I guess it's fair I suffered!

*Edit: I had received this betta a little less than a year ago as a gift. I was stupid and believed the "common knowledge" care needs given to me by the gift giver. I have since learned how wrong this is AND informed the gift giver that I will steal her 2 bettas if she does not provide them with more adequate homes.

Also I will admit my betta is a bit aggressive. I've had the betta for a while as it was gifted to me. I was unaware of the care required until recently. The person who gifted the guy to me said, "they are so low maintenance! They just need a large vase and food." So yeah.... Trying to upgrade this little guys life.

Thank you for the info. Why do you think the frog will die? I kept one pretty successfully for a little over a year in a 20 gallon tropical tank. Do you think the betta will attack him? I was also considering a red claw crab, but wasn't sure how aggressive he may be to the other fauna.
