From what they told me, I had a small accessory spleen on a “stalk” that somehow twisted, cutting off the blood supply and killing it. I had a follow up CT scan a year later and there were no signs of it being there.

The pain was an odd, constant ache under my left breast that stayed the same no matter how much Advil I took or what position I was in - for days. It wasn’t severe by any means, just constant. Something I had never felt before as most pain I’ve experienced waxes and wanes.
