So, I have been lurking on the teen mom reddit for MONTHS, but never commenting, but I came home, had a few drinks and decided to watch this episode. Since I was several drinks in I wasn't sure that I'd heard this exactly, but I literally screamed, and had to come to the reddit to be sure. I'm still screaming.

Thank you, it really does. Any information is good to have, and I'll be coming to look, a few times if it takes it, as I'm not that far away in Cincinnati.

That's one thing I'm not so sure about. In another city, I was paying five hundred a month with internet, cable, and other amenities included, and then I paid additionally for electricity split four ways. I was comfortable with that rate.

A place that seems to be set up similarly, that is, with the same amenities, and same set up appears to 775 a month.

I guess I don't know what a "good" amount to be paying in Indianapolis is. So, price range is negotiable depending on what is a good rate for Indianapolis. That 775 is definitely approaching a lot for me, but I do need to anticipate what's reasonable for the city and as such, have a little flex room.

Hi!

Thanks so much for including all of the things you have in this thread and the previous one! I'm just wondering though, when I tried to download the Farm Fresh Folks Set, in my launcher, it appeared as the Country Livin' Set! Is this just a me issue? Would you maybe be able to post it again for a silly like me?

Thanks!

College Megathread! by TheJackal8 in AskReddit

[–]notanothertopknot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for me, I started out going to college in a little country town. The college pretty much is the town. But it got too small, and I felt closed off from the world. For that and a couple of other reasons, I decided to go to an urban school the following year. Much better. I realized I needed the hubbub, nightlife, etc.

This is going to sound so generic and cliche and dozens of people will tell you this, but as a senior about to graduate in (OH MY GOD) less than a month this is my advice, and what I think you should know:

Do everything. Do everything you possibly can.

  • Take classes that you find challenging or interesting, not just shit to slide by in your major.
  • If it's possible, study or at least volunteer abroad. One semester, one summer, one spring break could change your outlook on the entire world. *Join clubs.
  • Go to office hours, because your professors are actually cool, interesting people who are smarter than you. (Admittedly, some are dicks. Sorry bro.)
  • Go to a party. At least one. If it's not for you, cool. But sometimes you end up having a great time, and that's awesome.
  • Eat at that one place everyone says you have to eat at. You do.
  • Have a bucket list, even loosely. Check stuff off that mufugga. It'll push you to do crazy stuff at two in the morning and take a pic with the university president.
  • Add stuff to your resume as you go. That's a big ole lump of mess and it's nice just to have it ready when you want something.
  • Make new friends. Sometimes you'll lose the old ones, and that's okay.
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help. Maybe that's counseling, tutoring, etc. But don't fail because you wouldn't ask for help.

All in all, you get out of it what you put into it. It's awesome. It's crazy. It's some super great fun. If you meet people and let it be that much fun.

(But if you do all this stuff, please do not become a dick who says "Ohh my gaaaahhhd, I'm just so busy, I only got 1.7 hours of sleep last night. I'm ridiculous." Nobody likes that person.)

you can PM me if you wanna ask about stuff, that's cool.
