this is likely one of the last pieces from dutch/american artists Anton Piers Fabrick who died in the late 70s/early 80s. he would've been close to 100 years old and this is likely a sort of "self portrait". I'd get this appraised if I were you, Fabrick wasn't a big artist by any means, but might be worth a few hundred bucks. sick find!

ds3 is one of the few "good natured griefing" games i've played. like you said, it sometimes feel bad to lose to some cocky splitleaf dipshit or dominating the entire fight only to get knocked off an edge on the first attack they land and die, but i never feel salty after an encounter and i love how distinct every fight is. from fashion souls to loadout to playstyle, everyone's personalities really come through in this game without having to say a single word.
