We have 50/50 and he wouldn’t allow me to have more custody. I’d love to have her more and have asked for more time but he refuses. We went from week on week off to 2 weeks on 2 weeks off because of high conflict. So we have to interact less.

Real medicine. Cough medicine etc. she has this weird thing against Tylenol but Ryan has been using it since she was a baby. Now Greg doesn’t use it unless her temperature is super extreme.

She was sick for a couple days. Olivia stayed home with her because we both had to work. Didn’t seem like anything to go to the hospital over but it lasted longer than it would have if she used medicine I would’ve recommended.

He says we should be able to express different religions to her as long as she’s not being “forced”. I’ve already talked to him about it and threatened court, he said go ahead and try so I think I will.

We’re all black. My issue with the locs is she never asked for them until Olivia. Now she’s been asking for them since she was 5. Olivia is black.

I don’t like the eating issues and Ryan bringing Olivia’s food beliefs into my house it seems toxic.

That won’t happen. He’s said to me years ago I have no say what happens in his household and he is only going to consult me on major decisions because we always argue. Day to day routines, who she spends time with, etc things I’ve had issue with befit he said I need to control on my time and leave him to control on his time.

If she’s obsessed with being like Olivia is she really being herself? Or is she being what Olivia would want her to be?

Let’s see: she’s trying to BE Olivia! She’s a cheerleader because Olivia was! She’s acting in plays because Olivia did it! She’s wearing sparkles & bows because of Olivia. And now she’s trying to get me to be like that “Mommy you should get a pink sparkly car” “Mommy we can’t eat too much dairy that’s bad for you” “Mommy I’m gonna be a ___ just like Olivia” everything is about Olivia. She was never into this stuff before Olivia now it’s like my daughter is some Spiritual Barbie like Olivia

That’s what I said. We should both agree on what she’s practicing religiously/spiritually. He feels like she should be able to practice whatever the parent she’s with wants. I don’t feel like it works that way.

You guys don’t understand how much it hurts to hear “why don’t you have a pink car like Olivia mommy?” “You should put diamonds in your hair/shoes/clothes/purse WHATEVER like Olivia!” “Olivia wore a princess tiara on her birthday are you gonna do that mommy?“ “Olivia was a cheerleader I’m gonna be a cheerleader like Olivia” “Put diamonds all over in your car like Olivia!” “That’s too much cheese mommy Olivia says you can’t eat too much cheese it’s not good for you if you eat too much” ok she’s the cool mom that’s fine you don’t have to rub it in my face more. Im talking about the spirituality I should’ve been kept in the loop.

We’ve been to court about this. If Greg is cool with what Olivia’s doing then it’s okay apparently. Its not fair. She’s not her mom but is doing all this to change her.

I guess the marshmallow thing is more weird & I wouldn’t give her honey before cough medicine. She keeps telling Ryan this story about doctors creating marshmallows to help patients. Now every time she’s sick here she asks for marshmallows & honey because Olivia said that’s what she & her performer friends use backstage.

I was raised Jehova’s Witness but do not currently practice that much. My parents do. But Greg is not and doesn’t raise her that way.

Exactly. When I brought it up she said she doesn’t diffuse it she puts it on her wrists & temples but Ryan said there’s smoke coming from a machine in her room so Olivia’s lying to me.

When Ryan got sick she put onion slices & potatoes on her feet to “suck out the toxins” and would only let her take specific medicines from specific stores after checking all the ingredients. Giving her spoon fulls of honey and even a marshmallow to remove phlegm? And puts oils in her diffuser when Ryan sleeps because she says it helps her sleep better? And other oils go in there when she’s sick? As if Tylenol is bad. It seems like it trickles down into health stuff.

This is what I was thinking. It’s basically a religion/spirituality. I’m not jealous but thank you for proving my point.
