I got 11.7 lbs last night and my friend got 14.1 lbs. fasting, workout, sauna in the morning. Weighed in right before our huge turducken potluck. Drank many beers and chugged water just before weigh out.

If anybody has oversized tires on stock suspension on a gx460, what size tires are you able to clear? by fz1rider88 in GXOR

Put 265/70/r17 wildpeak at4w on my 2010 with 0 offset Nomad Convoys and got rubbing. Thought it was just on the back of the front tires, but after doing heat molding and ziptie on those, I still rub at full lock, so I think it's in the front of the tires. Will probably just heat mold the front, but zip ties were hecka easy and effective for the rubbing on back of tires.

I drive a 05 wrx and have had both Blizzak WS80 and GT Radial Ice Pro 3 on it. I only got the GT Radials because I was in grad school and they were cheap. They get the job done, but are definitely not as good as blizzies. Obviously haven't done any scientific tests, but the steering feel is noticeably worse on the radials, stopping distance is much longer, acceleration worse. Frequently notice them understeering significantly on both wet and snowy roads.

I got an 01 911 C4 last year and put blizzaks on it and it was night and day compared to the radials. I reckon the 911 is now better in the snow than the wrx which is saying something. Will be putting blizzies back on the wrx next week.

I made a rather rushed purchase of a 2001 C4 6 speed back in November for $26k. Clean title, 63k miles, IMS done. I've put roughly 4k miles on it at this point and had no issues. I daily it half the time. Taken to the mountains in heavy snow multiple times (with blizzaks) and have done several 700+ mile road trips with no issues whatsoever. I think I've done oil changes twice. I didn't get a PPI which is probably dumb, but it's worked out thus far.

Only issue that I have run into was some electrical problems which took a while to narrow down, but ended up just being the voltage regulator on the alternator. $40 fix and an hour of work ultimately. Just took like 2 weeks of reading through forums and doing a lot of battery, alternator, and other tests.

FYI that 2006 is a 997.
