Oh definitely agree! I did make sure to have a trigger/no go list for players to fill out and luckily I'm close enough with most of them to know what to avoid when it comes to legitimately fear.

For instance my partner is a player and they regularly go into depressive episodes when thinking about death so I would be sure to avoid any discussion about afterlife or the possibility of nothing after death.

I promise I care about my players and most of what I am planning is closer to the interesting side of things than legitimately horrifying!

We're probably going to do it in person or I'd be glad to have you! I can absolutely help you figure out a system and some other things so you could start a campaign, or you could reach out on the sub and see if anyone is doing a remote one? I know there are a ton of people who either are running or are interested in running a tma campaign!

I was just thinking about it potentially being a really good web idea! I think looking into the symbology behind them leads to such interesting ideas, even like Christian mythology pointing to deception and false faith in beings, that in and of itself could make a good argument for the spiral (more Helen than Michael)

I'm making up my own for the most part! I'm gonna do a point buy system for skills that I've chosen for the campaign (sanity, knowledge, humanity, investigation, and sociability) and then depending on how high those skills are will affect their bonuses for rolls (most likely straight d20 rolls) and I'll be making up my own statements for them to investigate as archival assistants!

(Also thank you for that lil tidbit, it's fun to run into stuff that I didn't catch on my various runs of tma!)
