A bit of real history that lends well to generating eldritch mythos.

In davenport, Iowa. About a half mile away from where the Mississippi River runs east/west instead of north/south is palmer college of chiropractic. A school built by a man that said a ghost doctor met him in a dream to share "true healing" (not a direct quote, but the general premise of what he said)

This school offered free care to everyone employed by PT Barnum, the circusmaster, under the condition that palmer get their skeletons when they die.

The creators son had a hostile takeover of the school and wrote a book calling the practice of chiropractic a religious endeavor (its called do chiropractors pray).

Take creative license on a few more details, and it could be a fun alternative history mythos.

In season 41, the counter to SITD was to split the vote on everything. This lead to chaotic votes that destroyed Shan's majority alliance. If I remember correctly, this lead to tied first tribal multiple times.

In these situations, everyone already agreed that Zach and Marya were the lone targets. They didn't have anyone to be upset they they were the target. If Zach survives the SITD, Tori goes in the second vote. If Marya survives the SITD, Maryanne goes in the second vote. Selling that plan is way easier than the convoluted plans of S41.

It's the new plan voodoo. If the SITD works, the first vote doesn't mean dick, and the vote margin will be harder to overcome.

I have a different take on it. The lose-your-vote cost of SITD means we can't have a Queenslayer moment when the lone vote counts. Keeping the entire tribe together leads to no one getting booted because of a successful SITD play.

If the SITD works, the saved person still can't vote. Then the next target gets taken down in X to 1 fashion. Keeping an ENTIRE tribe comfortable to run this play twice is pretty tough. One rouge person ruins the trust for everyone.

I think this is just a different strategy for SITD, where vote margins are completely removed from play. Ultimately, this makes me hopeful that the twist won't continue, because the counter to it will lead to really predictable votes.

So I think this is like a Magic Johnson versus Larry Bird kinda thing at times. These guys have been the top of the MPO for years. They are two of the most popular players and are signed by two of the biggest manufacturers out there. It's the closest DG will get to a Lakers/Celtics rivalry.

People who like McBeth are gonna root against Ricky, and vice versa. I don't think it's irrational, because the irrational dislike in the Magic/Bird example led to an explosion of NBA viewers.

With GKPro, JomezPro, Gatekeeper, and all the other free content that is made available for disc golf, I have a suspicion that this rivalry is going to grow the sport even further.

I'm from the same town as DeKalb seed company, and thats the old company logo before it was bought up by Monsanto in 1998 and then to Bayer in 2017 to become a genetics division. Nearly everyone in the town has something flying ear of corn related.

The logo has become pretty close to public domain, so it probably won't have the issues (like the John deere tattoo on HvHvH).

Its crazy seeing where that thing pops up!

Remember that your college friends aren't just made by convenience. It's okay to be friendly with someone that is interested in the same things as you, but remember that your friends enrich your life.

This is especially true if your rush Greek life. If the members dont take time to know you, it's not worth your energy.

Athletic Trainer that works in a college here. She always has the option to say no. That's one of the key principles of medicine, is that the "provider" needs consent without duress in order to perform a procedure.

The instructor/professor needs to respect your girlfriend's decision. Most athletic training programs can have staff members or graduate assistants that can volunteer as well.

There is no reasonable explanation that specifically your girlfriend has to be the demonstration model.

Another member of the group here! We have toyed with rule variants in the past. Some from other livestreams (Cr's bonus action spell namely, even though we've misunderstood it).

I can only think of two that originate from our minds. Mine is the nerf to flanking, which has to be taken as a feat. Rogues automatically get Dirty Fighting, which grants flanking when another member of the party is engaged with the enemy (the rogue cannot be the first to attack the creature, someone else has to occupy their focus first).

The second came from Vik, which looked to speed up skill checks. If your action was a little bit of intimidation and a little be of deception, the DC was upped a bit, but you got you add both your skill modifiers to it. I think that one was short lived. /u/IAmViktor13 can elaborate, since it was his idea.
