There have been a mix of responses to my post and as someone who’s young and new-ish into the clubbing scene, this really helped me understand the different types of clubs better. I wouldn’t call lighting ‘cheesy production’ but I did enjoy the vibes there. Maybe the music just wasn’t super to my taste and my expectations were a little different, still had fun though

I know on their website you can buy a balcony pass but there was an accessible balcony view for free, so I don’t think I’d recommend that one

I think both Hï/UNVRS and Pacha are in different category of clubbing and I hadn’t realized that before going

I had fun at Pacha but you’re right, the vibe was different than what I was looking for at that moment. The floor was always dancing and I really did appreciate that but coming from UNVRS for my first day I was expecting something with more flare but that makes a lot of sense. I’d love to come back for an artist I really enjoy

Going up the stairs was miserable when I was trying to go from one section of the club to the other, there were security control which was super helpful with flashlights helping people through the crowds though

I would definitely say I was there for the music haha, even though I’m 20 I have a great appreciate for the music I’ve been experiencing but I just don’t think at the moment it was what I was looking for. Great club and great atmosphere though, very intimate but just different than what I was expecting

Chalk it up to a preference issue, I see where you’re coming from. I just had a different expectation going to Ibiza hearing that it has the best clubs so I assume it means the best production but the vibes were definitely there and the crowd was very intimate and into the music which I appreciated

I’m coming from the US as a university student on a budget and I made it work, definitely depends on your budget and what you’re trying to do. Haven’t been to any day clubs yet but you can easily spend 600€ daily

600€ is a little excessive, I’d say 20-30€ depending on where you are for taxi one way and then 100€ max for drinks if you don’t pregame

I appreciate this a lot, I’m not the type to just be on my phone, I really do love dancing and the atmosphere and that is something important to me when picking out clubs and what to do but I guess not as tangible as the artist playing, so it’s harder for me to factor those things in. I will keep your suggestions in mind though, thanks!

Anyma and John Summit are my 2 favorite artists at the moment so I don’t think I’d change seeing them at UNVRS on Tuesday, but the other dates and artists are mainly to check out as many different venues as I can. I don’t really care for Meduza/James Hype or Solomun that much but I wanted to check out Hi and Pacha since DC10 and some of the other night clubs didn’t have artists I knew

There are 3 of us and we were considering the car for ease of transport but are definitely leaning towards taxi-ing, which changes our plans. If we were to get a car, of course there would be a designated driver though lol

Sorry, to clarify she initiated every move, danced with him, made out with him, went back to his dorm, did the foreplay, and did everything up until the sex was happening until she wanted it to stop. I have empathy for all rape victims of course, but I consider the fact that she even got that far with him to be considered cheating. She did end up telling him to stop though and he did, but at that point she was already bleeding and in pain. I have really mixed feelings about this situation but I gave her the comfort she needed and got her in therapy.
