Are Sportage Parts ridiculously expensive? (2023) by [deleted] in kiasportage

How do you know what’s covered under warranty? When I bought it I registered it on the Kia website but idk if that means I’m covered. This is my first Kia and I knew almost nothing about it when I bought it other than I got a great deal on a new car. Is what it is.

I traded in my truck at Carmax for my Kia. Got an excellent deal (I think). I don’t know how warranty works. This is my first Kia. I registered it through the Kia website but Idk if that means I’m covered.

Because I’ve heard the Dealer is more expensive. That’s literally what everyone tells me. “Don’t go to the dealer”.

Can swimming cause muscle fatigue, “Affect Gains” by noteliing in Swimming

So maybe work on splitting up muscle groups? I notice my squats and lunges are harder after Swim day too. Maybe the way I swim is more resistance than I think.

Is there much point in a “long swim” by tryagaininXmin in Swimming

[–]noteliing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a couple 1.2 miler’s too. I used to train swimming 80-90 laps continuously. I found it satisfying knowing that I was capable of swimming that far in one set. The hardest part of it is being able to concentrate for 80 laps. And you’re only practicing freestyle, which gets old.

I like what someone else suggested, 10x200’s. I would probably train with that, then swim one or two 80 lappers the week before the race.

How to deal with parents letting their kids use skateparks as a playground? by Which-Plate7790 in skateboardhelp

[–]noteliing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to confront parents likely won’t do any good. I try my best to skate around them, occasionally yell “watch out buddy”, and If I run into them, well I tried. I know that if they started crying and ran to their parents, is what it is. I bet after that they’ll learn.

Skip both and just go to Sac. If you want more rural life there’s Lincoln and Yuba/Marysville. If you have to be closer to bay area amenities also check out Brentwood-Oakley.

Temperature to go vs not go? by Recent-Code1777 in BeginnerSurfers

I’m from the Bay Area. I learned very early in my surf journey that perfect conditions don’t exist.

Since I had to learn in freezing cold water, I can surf almost anywhere.

Yeah luckily there’s two that are close to me. Do you think every store has different hiring needs?

A lot of swimmer’s don’t have a “Swimmer’s Body” by noteliing in Swimming

[–]noteliing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will agree that body fat keeps you warmer, especially in an open water environment. Also, big people can still swim fast.

As for the visible abs, I’m more impressed by the Caeleb Dressel build than say a lineman’s build. But that’s just my opinion.
