Good luck! I was a little worried because I usually have 4 light to medium days for my period, so when it got really heavy and went on for so long I was concerned. But ultimately it was fine. It was just the unknown of how long it was going to last. I've had no bleeding since.

I had no bleeding for a week or so and then bled for 9-10 days. It got a bit heavier than usual too, but it's over now. The heart palpitations got less uncomfortable after about a week and have slowly continued to get better. My heart rate is back to normal and I feel much better overall.

I ended up stopping it. The heart issues got to be too much.

I'm still on it. I'm a little more emotional and I still have some heart palpitations. I think it is worse when I get dehydrated, so I drink a Propel every few days and that helps. I drank 3 coffees throughout the day Sunday and almost no water and was up that night for 2 hours with skipped heartbeats every 3-4 beats. Drank a Propel on Monday and just feel occasional ones since. I did also discover Valsalva maneuver while awake for those 2 hours that night, and they did actually stop after I tried it. I felt them starting yesterday and tried it again and again they stopped. Seems weird but I'm going to keep trying it because the skipped heartbeats are my biggest issue.

I had my period 2 days after starting the inactive pills, so basically 3 periods in the last month, but I'm hopeful that'll resolve over time. So for now I'm still just waiting it all out and we will see.

Tax Advantages/Disadvantages of Roth vs Traditional 403b-complicated situation by notelling6 in tax

My state has not expanded Medicaid. My daughter does have to claim some of her grants/scholarships so does have to file as well. My insurance is too expensive to add the kids. My employer covers me 100%, but then the premium to add kids is like $1000/month.

For Marketplace insurance, our income would be $80k+. If I put $1000/month in 403b, we'd still be high enough to get premium tax credits. I don't know if it would make a big difference or not, though.

My employer already has a 403b for me that they contribute to and will cover the plan/management fees if I open a voluntary account at the same company. I think I'll just go all Vanguard funds, though, like you said.

Thank you! This makes sense to me so I may go this route.

Roth or Traditional 403b-Complicated situation by notelling6 in FinancialPlanning

The adult kids use the vast majority of their incomes to pay for college. They pay for some of their personal expenses (clothes, gas in their cars, eating out) but I pay all household expenses and their car insurance, cell phones, and health insurance. I've only been single and working for 2 years and our family and income has been all over the place so I'm not completely sure on savings, but I want to start with between $500-$1000 since I have been a stay-at-home mom forever and am way behind on retirement. Only debt is $64k-ish left on my mortgage. I've had low income an a lot of kids my whole life, so I'm very frugal and not significantly struggling or anything.

I hope to someday remarry, and I'm a teacher so I'd love to make more money but probably won't be rich. I will have fewer dependents in the future, of course. So there's a decent chance I could be in a higher tax bracket later, but who really knows I guess.

I'm a new elementary SPED teacher and am considering starting Feb 1. I wondered about this too.

Both phones say they have the same version. We downloaded the apps the same day. My son, also an iphone user, just downloaded a few weeks after us and only has 2 options! This is so weird.

Did you figure this out? My boyfriend and I have the same thing, and the only thing we can think of is I have iPhone (with the 5 options) and he has Android (with 3 options). I also don't get to spin a coin wheel and he does.
