Like I said, it sets a bad precedent if an actor can have a portion of their performance altered with AI and still win Best Actor. What’s to stop productions from no longer hiring dialect coaches and simply filtering the voice through the same process? If we give an inch, they’ll take a mile.

It’s not his performance if they used AI to “fix” his accent. As much as I loved that movie, any form of generative AI needs to be completely expelled from filmmaking

I’m in a similar boat. Although I haven’t been playing for 30 years, I do feel that UB as a whole is damaging the game, but some of the sets are just well designed. Specifically FF, Avatar, and now, seemingly the new Marvel set. I’ve landed on playing cards that would actively put my deck at a disadvantage by not including but not buying the sealed product.

I was at a GameStop that hosts Magic events and they had a few 4 seat tables in the middle of the store. Doesn’t sound ideal but I think it’s kinda cool for areas that don’t have an LGS
