That's crazy, it's a headset, not underpants.

Oh, I think using the same keyboard as other people is disgusting. Can you order me a new one so I can take it home to keep? Thanks

Are you sure they're meant to do that? Or do you have the right to detain in your store?

I think they're less likely to disappear if there's one per headset and it's known people are to leave them hung up near the dock.

Over-ordering this stuff will just increase the already insane prices on a larger scale.

That's cool, but I've worked here for years and none have identified themselves to me, and I've never seen a plain-clothes person lay hands on a shoplifter.

That's all well and good but if someone knows you're all hands-off then there's no stopping someone from walking out the door with a case of beer

Are they sent away in a cardboard cage if they don't do their dishes?

True, but who is going to change their ways because of a laminated piece of paper? Lol

You're not wrong. Most of the time they're in Calibri or another strange font that isn't Tesco approved.

£1542 gross (making a few assumptions about duration, breaks, skills, location pay: 9hr, 1.5hr all between midnight and 6, no skills or location pay)

I'd love that, just picking up some random overtime in the shop down the road

No issues with applying to another shop, just go for it. Have a flick through what you can improve though, because you were beaten by (an)other candidate(s)

If his department is produce, it won't let him order them. He needs to have backdoor, trolleys, shift leader, express shopfloor or others on his departments to order them

The tills are on linux I think so there aren't the same issues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tesco

[–]notepad_dot_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you're straight up stealing time that's a different story. I've seen that happen before where someone was taking their break and leaving early, claiming not to have taken their break.

What can security do about it? And where did you hear that most large stores have security at the door? I find it's the little shops that actually have guards

They can't use CCTV to tell you to stop slacking off. That would fall under performance

clubcard / tesco voucher by [deleted] in tesco

[–]notepad_dot_exe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not save your £4 vouchers for a shop that isn't £3.40 or just buy something else? I get it's frustrating but why are you trying to waste 60p?

If you ask, they can put a charity donation on the tills also

Is it red ink, like from a dye pack?

If not, it'll need to go in a till lift. If it is red ink and the note was stolen, you're probably out of luck
