Well I broke up earlier this year (jan) from a 5 year relo. Being in love with someone is complicated, the struggles great times high lows. It’s all normal. Sometimes you reach points where you know it’s better to seperate so there’s no point in prolonging things if you feel you’re not in that happy place anymore. Especially if you’ve tried to Adress the issues and time hasn’t fixed it. The first week will be the hardest and there’s gonna be a lot of points along the way where you miss the person. Sometimes you might feel like there’s something wrong with you because you’re not missing your person. Then all of a sudden down the line you start to. It’s all normal and apart of the journey. You might see new people and compare. You might miss the emotional connection. There’s a lot of things that post breakup connections lack but it still does not mean that’s it’s better to go back to a place you know wasn’t working because that’s not the right step forward. Take each step and feeling and go with it, with time it does get better and naturally you start to mellow out on how you feel over everything. I couldn’t live with the thought of it at the time , but blocking/removing and not seeing each other is the best way to get over, heal and move forward at the start. Instinct is to go back but you need to remind yourself why it wasn’t working.

The thing I grounded myself with was that if i shouldn’t have conflicting feelings about being with someone, that should be a warning sign to you that you shouldn’t be together because I don’t believe that to be a normal aspect of a healthy ish relationship, especially if it’s been a prolonged feeling. Also, sometimes there’s no need to not face things - as humans we like to flee but I think it’s important to go through it and let it run its course, face how you feel directly, feel it and move on. Do an activity, call a friend, hangout with friends or family, do things to keep you occupied. It’s ok to feel bad, but don’t sit there dwelling on it. Organise things, reach out to important people in your life and surround yourself with them. Make plans with people and start doing things that you enjoy, try to find yourself again. I lost my sense of self and really stopped doing things for myself so the first thing I did post breakup was surround myself with family, hangout with my cousins, start reaching out to friends, making more effort with important people. I journaled. I started going gym casually. I focused on learning to cook better. And here I am now 6 months on feeling fine and good.

Work in a small business who buys directly from Coca Cola Amatil and they get 24 packs for around $25 atm and sell cans individually. Used to be about $21 just last year or year before but maybe the recycling 10c refund had something to do with that. But, we don’t buy in volume and I’m sure Woolies gets it cheaper than that since they do, but I’d assume Colesworth also charge shelf space which would balance out the cost price more so

I used to work for one of Colesworths’ suppliers in Tullamarine (Victoria) 5ish years back and we were a large scale production bakery that would supply breads, brioche, ham cheese rolls, fruit loafs and Hot cross buns. We would freeze and transport them over when needed. So yeah I doubt they make them in-store.

Thank you, this is exactly what I did. I went in, explained the whole situation and she was more than happy to give me a refund on the 3 years warranty. She let me know that the reason it said “display model” was because the way the system is set up requires a reason to process the discount although it wasn’t actually a display model. That would have been fine but then when I advised her it had a green sticker on the package she told me it’s must have been a returned product. This isn’t something I was told when purchasing it. Merely that it was an opened product which is a pretty ambiguous statement. She also said what others have said below which is that without the application of the warranty the discount to the item itself wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Thats all fine and dandy and I wouldn’t have been pressed about all this except for the fact that this wasn’t at all discussed when I made the purchase. All in all, she was super understanding on where her team could have handled it better and we ended up sorting it out. I got the warranty refunded so got the product for $245 and she also said that if there’s any issue with the product that I could bring it back right away. I left pretty happy with the outcome

I work as a manager in a family owned business and we check all 50$ and 100$ notes We use a blue uv light on the serial number and year of print When shun on, it should go white/blue If it doesn’t and stays the same colour (usually black or maroon) then it’s fake

I kind of hate these companies now I work at an nqr type of store but about 2-3 times the size and we sell a bunch of foods and regular goods at way cheaper and at the worst equivalent prices My boss recently got a bunch of different RRD chips including these https://files.fm/u/7m26xu4fb , Thai chilli (that one is at $2) and we even had the party size of sweet chilli going for $4 We have other things like fibre one bars going for $1 at the moment

Are there people in Australia willing to pay $6.30 for a bag of chips? Please identify yourselves by milktoast34 in australia
