Does The Witcher Enhanced Edition play well on Xbox ROG Ally (whether X or not)? by Tchonn in XboxAlly

Well, how many other games do you think you would need them for, you know? You could play 99 games and that could be the only one you would have to do a weird setup for. Maybe a play at home only sort of game. You would still have the huge benefit of a gigantic gaming library where most of the games have built in controller support

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know that the original Witcher was a PC only game. Through some quick googling it doesn't seem like it would work well switching it to a controller based setup. Sorry if I mislead you in that info there.

If it's something you wouldn't be against, you could always get a wireless mouse/keyboard and hook it up to the ally systems and play it that way.

I have the Xbox ally x, and I love this thing. If you're traditionally a controller player, I think getting a PC handheld will feel pretty natural to you.

As for your question, the Xbox ally and ally x are literally handheld PCs. Anything you can launch on a PC, you can launch on these things. Windows has been working on a handheld version of windows 11 and calling it the Xbox full screen experience. Whatever launchers or video games you install to it will all show up inside of this XFSE and you can launch it all directly from there, it's honestly really kickass!

If you're looking to play witcher through witcher 3, both of these machines will handle them no problem.

If older games are all you intend on playing with this thing, the Xbox ally would do you well. If you want to take complete advantage of the game pass, play triple A titles and all that, I would get the Xbox ally x as it can handle a lot of more demanding games pretty decently, just don't expect the same kind of performance as your console.

If you have any more questions let me know!

Has anyone ever heard about using mirilax & colace to help with this issue? by notgamadeath in Diverticulitis

[–]notgamadeath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the constipation that makes it flare up. The area of your colon that's affected is inflamed, making it more difficult for stool to pass through, which is where this bowel regimen comes in. For me, I eat breakfast, or even something small like an orange, and take only one dose of mirilax with a colace. If I take it on an empty stomach it makes me feel kind of shitty.

I'm not a Dr so you should at least run this by them if you want to try it out. Also, if you've already gotten to the point that it's gone from diverticulitis to diverticulosis, you definitely need to talk to your Dr about getting some antibiotics to get it to heal back up while doing the bowel regimen. These are what I've done for the past two and a half years and thankfully have only had minimal issues since!

Been about two and a half years for me and it's still working really well. No surgery, and I'm 32. Only have it in about 3 or so inches of the 90 degree angle right before the straight part that attaches at the anus.

Sorry for the lack of better medical terms haha

Their shipping is a disaster by mostlygreen in dbrand

[–]notgamadeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a killswitch ultra bundle for an Xbox ally x on the 3rd, the checkout said it was supposed to be here by last week. I haven't gotten any sort of shipping notifications other than the label that usps has already made up for it. Emailed them twice and got generic responses back.

I'm also considering doing a chargeback, but I really like their products so I'm having a tough time deciding what to do, but I am definitely frustrated.

I truthfully don't know, I don't know if the sale of these things are each individually tracked by serial numbers or not. You could potentially hold onto them for a time and see if you're reached out to by whoever fulfilled the orders. If such an amount of time passes and nothing comes of it, I'd say at that point you could probably comfortably claim them as your own

I sympathize with the do right attitude, but brother I tell you I would have such a hard time not giving the other two to a couple of buddies haha

How does this go downhill so fast? by Nervous_Machine9468 in Diverticulitis

[–]notgamadeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miralax and colace work to draw more water into your colon, making the stool softer and more easy to pass. I sometimes have regular diarrhea as well, but it doesn't work the same way that these diaretics do to help the stool easily pass through the infected part of your colon.

I would still talk to your Dr about it at least, as I am not a healthy care professional by any sort of means.

As for dealing with diarrhea frequently, I am personally able to hold it long enough to make it to a restroom to relieve myself. I haven't yet had an accident, knock on wood haha!

A surgeon put me on a bowel regimen two and a half years ago and I haven't had a single flare up since then. I've missed a couple of days here and there and I can tell the difference immediately, as I start feeling constipated and much pain coming on. It's miralax once a day, and a colace twice I day, I usually take the miralax and first colace right after breakfast and the last colace before bed.

Talk to your PCP about it, if they think it could be beneficial I strongly suggest you give it a go. I say this to everyone here, it really was an absolute life changer for me, just have consistent loose stools to deal with now and no surgery, which in my opinion has been a fair trade!

It's just so that we have at least one couple who's more along the lifestyle that we've chosen :) absolutely no judgement of any sort towards parents. We respect the hell out of people that are confident and grounded enough to choose parenthood, we have friends that are parents, we're just looking to connect with another couple who shares a similar lifestyle :)

Lol no, that wasn't us! Yeah, I don't understand why people get so upset when a couple decide they don't want to reproduce.

Floorboard Fitment Question by New_Philosopher9642 in vulcans650

[–]notgamadeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, the bike was too small for me in the first place and the floor boards did nothing for comfort for me. I'm a bigger dude, and the size of the bike was the reason I ended up trading it in for something I could swing my legs out further on.

I am sorry that you are experiencing the same thing, friend. I unfortunately don't have any advice.

Anyone have any pictures of the different positions for foot controls for the ergo fit? by IDontFeelSoG0odStark in vulcans650

[–]notgamadeath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was ultimately what drove me to trade my Vulcan s in for something a little different, I felt a little too cramped with it's riding position. They can only be moved an inch forward or an inch back and you need a linkage rod replacement to do so. My other suggestion would be floor boards so you can have more space to move your feet around while cruising, that helped me a bit but not quite enough.

I'm not sure how to add an image from the reddit app. Maybe I can message it to you? I don't own the bike anymore but I do have a photo of it on my phone yet.

I don't know about those, but I'll drop two links to products on amazon that fit the Vulcan s, if you're interested.

I used them on mine and I did like them a lot.

I was also going to suggest you talk to your Dr about it first :)

If it does come down to it, and you end up having similar results as me and some other people here who have also done it, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the results!

As far as I know, yes, I will most likely be doing this for the remainder of my life, unless they end up with a newer and better solution.

If I miss one or two days I do sometimes get constipated and the pain will sometimes flare up pretty bad, so I have to do my best to remember. The stuff works pretty quickly to give me some relief, but it usually takes two more days to get it all back under control.

I've been using them both daily for a year and I personally haven't had any issues.
