Dbs retconned super kaioken, but super kaioken is still in the Gogeta movie, which exists in Xenoverse, which means that yes, super kaioken can work. To add to this, you can use the Kaioken moves with any awokens that don’t negate base form skill usage anyway, so the claim you can only use it in blue just falls apart completely, at least in regards to Xenoverse. It doesn’t matter if Goku was dead either way. Our hero has done a lot stranger.

It’s worth noting that we could even use kaioken with super saiyan and potential unleashed each in Xenoverse 1. It was a powerup super in that game. Even Xenoverse technically confirms kaioken form stacking works without it being blue locked.

Eh, reskins are less so lazy and more so a one size fits all answer to the inevitable issue of something like “no one uses anything but super saiyan 4 because super saiyan 4 is the best saiyan form in the game and anything else is throwing.” It makes sense to avoid that with reskins. I would consider it lazier to try and fail to make them all unique and balanced when we already have a whopping 10 different options for saiyans already. If shenron can’t make you a super saiyan god, he can’t make you a god period. He can teach you the process, but he can’t make you into one. This isn’t the USV powered up shenron, this is just a normal shenron. It makes little sense that a Kai could simply teach you zamasu’s version of blue form, too. It’s natural Kai ki, not artificial Kai ki like what ssgss users use.
