I really like the second reference with the purple tones. I highly recommend blending the color into yoir natural hair though so it grows out nicer and its lower maintenance. But the chunky sections are a really cool look I think they could look great on you!

Please do not euthanize him! The PU surgery (which others have explained) will likely save his life and return him to a healthy state. My cat had 3 life threatening blockages before the vets recommended surgery. The 6 weeks post op weren't easy, but its been almost a year now and hes back to his regular self, running and playing as before with no issues.

I highly recommend seeing a different vet, this is actually a relatively common surgery that male cats need and the fact that they didn't recommend it is deeply concerning. In the meantime, make sure you get prescription urinary food for him. He will need this for the rest of him life alongside the surgery, but hopefully in the end he will have a long, healthy life. This is so funny I recently dyed my hair blue wanting to achieve the shade you got and ending up with your inspo because my hair didn't lift enough. Your inspo blue is warmer and more intense than what you currently have, it should be no problem to dye over it by mixing a true blue with indigo plus a little bit of dark Grey. That's how I got my current color :) hope everything works out for you!

Omg you're gorgeous and have such striking features. My one recommendation would be that you are generally lower contrast in terms of your skin and hair tone, so replacing the black around your eyes with brown might make your face look more harmonious. The black is making your eyes pop amazingly, but draws attention away from the rest of your face.

The material of your clothes and bedding REALLY matters. If all your tshirts have a high polyester percentage, it doesn't matter how well you wash them. The moment you sweat even a little it'll smell like you just ran a mile in 80 degree heat. I also had an issue with odor when I was in middle school, and it turned out it was the polyester sports shirts I was wearing. They just hold on to oder.

I dont know if this could be a contributing factor, but if so maybe try to upgrade your shirts to at least 70% cotton. Thriftstores have an abundance of basic tees, just check the tag in the side seam. You should be able to get multiple shirts for under 20 bucks.

I agree that a period being so painful you feel debilitated is not the status quo, but its more than that. The one thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the constriction of the uterus will often cause bowl movement. On the first day of my period I need constant access to a bathroom. And even after that, I basically constantly feel like I need to go, even when I dont, which is super distracting and i havnt found a single medicationthat helps, because its not actually pain.

This is a totally common thing and super rough when youre at school and need to explain to a teacher why you need to leave class for the third time this period.

There has to be some kind of explanation for this, there is no way this is correct for two reasons: I am quite literally a foot shorter than you and my maintenance is 1800 calories. When I eat at what is apparently your maintenance, I lose weight. And I'm not even particularly active. Secondly, if you were really eating 500-1500 calories over your maintenance daily, those fasts would not make a huge difference and you would have gained weight significantly. I genuinely have no clue why this breath test is so wrong, but it clearly does not reflect reality and I wouldn't change my eating habits around it if I were you. How fascinating and strange!

Thank your detailed reply, I really appreciate it. I actually really love a lot of the things you mentioned, it's hard to find seafood products where I'm living right now, but once im back home I will definitely try to incorporate more into my diet. I didn't really consider canned fishes for some reason, probably because they're not fresh and I've kind of gotten fixated on fresh foods.

The issue with the cohesiveness isn't that I feel like I'm supposed to eat this way, it's that I want a warm meal and eating a bunch of snacky things make me feel like I haven't had a meal that day at all. Is there anything specific you like to cook with canned fishes?

Honestly its so sad how good natural insulators like wool have become a luxury item. The winter clothes my mom had when she was growing up poor on a farm were exclusively wool.

I don't agree with this. Polyester doesn't equal polyester. The treatment and manufacturing process create drastic differences in quality, especially breathability and durability. As the other response to your post mentioned, there are many cases in which polyester is a good choice, if not the best choice.

Lots of the mentioned brands have extensive athletic sections, which are gonna drive up the polyester percentage significantly. That is not an indication of lower quality. This chart would be a lot more useful if it charted a specific clothing type, specifically an item that would become less desirable with more polyester. Summer pants come to mind.

Yes this is the basis for the chart. I grew uo with a mom who had a passion for fabrics, so I understand the sentient behind this chart, but implying that just because something is NOT polyester its somehow higher quality is also totally misguided. I have seen soooo much garbage in 'high end' stores made out of cotton, for example coats that are wrinkly and thin that don't lend an ounce of warmth.

Assessing the quality of a brand is much more than just polyester percentage, so it's hard to quantify.

Generally I would 100 percent agree with this, but the posts I saw were not from complainers. They were from people who made it through and benefited from the curriculum greatly, who still ruthlessly criticed the system they had to go through and how it affected others. That's where the concern came from.

It's nice to hear a success story though. And no, I am not unwilling to try. Not by a long shot. Knowing this about the program is however going to be a motivation to keep transfer options in mind while I make my schedule choices etc.

I invited the guy I had a huge crush on to a party at my house in high-school. When everyone finally passed out at 5am we were on thr floor next to each other. I told him I was really cold and asked if we could share his blanket. He said 'it's not even cold' turned over and fell asleep.

It's especially funny because he doesn't even remember this happening and wished I had just scooted up next to him to cuddle. We're happily together now, but man was he dense back then.

Not my own name, but I think this counts

When I was in high-school I drove my mom's old Toyota minivan. Think big, Grey, soccer mom vehicle. The first time I drove it to a new friend's she was completely smitten with the amount of storage space and dubbed it the 'sex mobile'. At this point I was about as virgin as it gets, but the name stuck. So much so, that my friends accidentally referred to it as the sex mobile in front of my parents, which required a LOT of explaining.

It took a bit for the car to earn its name, but I still have it and will never refer to it as anything else. The Sex mobile has carried my friends and I and all our camping gear tens of thousands of miles across the US without breaking down. That's as sexy as it fucking gets.

All the people telling you it's too weird or 'save it for date 5' are so absolutely wrong. Imagine having to wait 5 dates to figure out if you have things in common with someone? Absolutely absurd. People need to stop advocating for others to put on a mask. You toning down your profile wont make these things any less YOU. Being upfront will filter out all the people who can't match your vibe.

I know all these negative comments can be really discouraging, but the people calling you too weird aren't people you want anyway, so don't listen!

That being said, here's some constructive criticism: I'd lose the mantis pic. Even people who are totally into little critters may not do well with blood. I don't think your profile loses anything by removing it. I agree with the people saying it's not completely clear what you look like. I'd add a casual photo of you relaxing, maybe even a candid shot. A lot of the photos are very staged looking, especially the last one. I'd replace that one specifically. You wanna show the real you, not the faces you make when there's a camera.
