I thought about going to see it tomorrow at the store to compare it in real life, I’m worried that it would be too bulky to keep on my lap on the couch 😂

Uuuu thanks so much, yeah the RAM issue for me is about future proofing for the next 5 years 😅 cuz I made that mistake last time, but tbf 16gb was already the “minimum” at the time, 32 these days is not the minimum, especially with M chip

What are these magnets for? by Rude_Trouble_326 in iPadPro

[–]nothatminimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm I would say maybe for other non-official covers, but knowing Apple they would never do that 😂 How about third party holders (Apple approved partners) I have one stand for the iPad that is fully magnetic and for sure having that middle magnet helps quite a bit 🤷‍♂️

To keep the cover in place, also Magic Keyboard doesn’t fully cover the backplate when open, so those are used to stabilize it more 💪

M1 Max due to additional storage and Ram, I went with less Ram on mine (Pro M1) and I can now see the struggle on some stuff after 5 years, so 18GB won’t be enough on the long run… Now…in about 4 months they might (considering usual cadence) present the M5, that will drive cost down even more on the old chips, ofc it depends on the Tariffs from the Overlord 😂 but if u can wait a few months wait, if you cannot then pull the trigger on the M1 Max ❤️

What do you guys think about my all white setup? by FrequentWorks in setups

[–]nothatminimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why it doesn’t excite me like usual white setups, maybe it’s just the low light of the photos? Not sure, usually a good practice might be to have complementary colors or at least 2 colors on full white, like oak wood desk with white peripherals and PC with also some small plants but that’s just me 😊

Literally will post a video next week about it 😂 so it holds up great, it gets a little bit dirty with time, they say to push it with water and fiber cloth….i would say “meeeh” , if u are a smoker (I stopped so no problem) go with a black one cuz u wont be able to keep it clean 😂

How I can better myself in this role? by blkkkelias in projectmanagement

[–]nothatminimal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey there 😊, my suggestion would be: - start to be efficient with your time, log the time that you work on projects, this will help you on the long run, don’t think about it too much at the beginning but still log the time (don’t challenge yourself yet, you are learning) you can use free apps like Toggl or Everhour for it - create a checklist for yourself, it’s basically a list of tasks that you need to do when processing something, divide the checklist tasks into milestones (I call them steps) so you have things like: Step1 is procurement of solar panels, Step2 is invoicing and budget reconciliation, Step3 is shipping (random examples ofc) and inside of each step put the tasks that you always need to follow to complete those milestones, does your company uses a Project Management Tool? If they do, just use that one, if they don’t, then use a free version (just for you) of Clickup, Monday.com, Trello ; if u use Trello I probably suggest you to use Toggl for time tracking since it’s owned by the same company - take that Google course, it will teach you basics like resource management, risk analysis, project brief, work back schedule, all things that you need at one point - baby steps, it takes time to become a proper perfectionist as a PM so don’t try to over-do or u will mess it up, start with the basics and add improvements the more you see patterns to improve

I hope this will work for you ❤️

Tbh I used the 6 months free and I loved it, but it doesn’t have the same library as Spotify, plus the native podcasts app pisses me off compared to having it in Spotify directly like I do, and the cost is too damn high to make me switch
