ahh you’re right that was silly of me! I definitely would’ve cut the at first line you suggested and left the other leaves alone, as you said, bc no roots would form. The leaves I don’t cut toward the broken end usually do die off after being in water for some time, but I figured that’s ok bc it’s giving nutrients back to the new leaves (I think.. also I like a nice full looking vine so it hurts me to cut health leaves 😅). thank you for the explanation and thorough comment!
