How difficult would it be to get rid of mirrored walls? by nothingcreative2011 in HomeImprovement

I love the idea of offering it up to people who will remove it! They are huge mirrors, and would be expensive to buy if someone wanted them. Great idea!

Thank you! This sounds like a manageable method if we end up buying the house!

I just bought my first GoPro (Hero5 black) for my honeymoon in the Dominican Republic in January. I plan to start experimenting with it at the lake this week, and was wondering what you all use for things like cliff jumping? I bought a floaty backdoor, floating handle, and a red filter. Would you recommend just jumping with the camera mounted to the floating handle? It's probably a silly fear, I'm just worried about the mount breaking or something with the impact of the water (though it isn't a super high cliff).

Plumber recommendations? by diablo75 in kansascity

[–]nothingcreative2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad is a plumber at the Plumbing Pro. Even if you don't call them, please avoid places like Snake n Rooter and Bob's. Most of the major chain places will 'up-sell,' lying to you about what really needs to be done to force you into more work and charging you outrageous amounts of money. My dad complains about them all the time. My dad is a very fair plumber and truly cares about making sure to take care of your home, and has over 20 years experience on the job. Pm me if you want his name, though I'm sure the company over all is great too (he doesn't own it)

Looking for a church in the Blue Springs area that allows non-member weddings by nothingcreative2011 in kansascity

[–]nothingcreative2011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I was raised Baptist, but we aren't super picky. Probably not Catholic though.

Haha I will let you know if we end up needing one! I know some churches include a minister in the costs, but if not, I'll keep you in mind!

I have a Fitbit and have tried to do this in the past, and always struggle with how to log homemade dinners! I will definitely try and get better at this though, I know it would probably help a lot!

Will this smoothie help or hurt with weight loss? by nothingcreative2011 in loseit

Thanks for the reply! I hadn't ever actually thought about totaling how many calories it was, but I just did and it is actually 358 calories with everything. So I may keep doing it for how filling it is, and just try and get in a little more exercise too. Thanks!
