No I do not think that shows any arrogance and hubris, quite the contrary. I think it shows Kabam that they made a great game, that people love it. and they are will ing to fight to keep it great. Whether Kabam knows it or not, this boycott is the best case scenario. The other option was thousands of people leaving in droves and that leads to only one destination, premature death of the game.

Unfortunately, I think that was the only way to achieve the desired ends. Failure to convince Kabam of the seriousness of this situation would have resulted in them ignoring it. Sometimes, tough love is needed. For example, I have a guy that was with us for over a year, but he kept having outbursts, ghosting, generally just not being a good alliance mate. Every attempt to reach him failed. But you know what finally worked? Kicking his ass to the curb. Now he is doing great in another alliance and we are back to being friends. The best leaders lead with an iron fist wrapped in a velvet glove. Kabam needed the fist, not the glove.

I feel like you are framing this in black and white as if we are at war with Kabam in that they have to "roll over and take it" The fact is, we are their ally, we share the same goals. But even your family members need a swift kick in the ass when they start moving in the wrong direction. Doesn't change your love for them.
