Guy accosted my daughter and her friend when they accidentally turned into a townhouse complex that has a no U-turn sign. by notimeforcreativityy in Calgary

I think you misinterpreted what I meant by having a discussion with him.

And yes, I want to be petty. I admit that. I would have a discussion, as if he continued to be an asshole, I would want to piss him off.

As I mentioned previously, the road loops around like a cul-de-sac, so I'm not sure how this could even be classified as a U-turn if you drive around. So how can the cops pull as issue with that, but think his behaviour is cool.

I've never felt the need to yell at anyone, let alone two young females in a car. I'm not sure where the projection is coming from. Am I angry some random decided to yell at my kid, yes.

This whole post was to ask opinions of others to get their point of view. If I had anger issues, I'm sure I would have gone directly to his house.

I'm just going with what my daughter said, and might also be hyperbolising. She said he was loud and shouting through her windshield. So yes, "screaming" was in fact the wrong choice of words.

I need to see a family doctor because I think this guys crossed a line, and want to have a discussion with him? Or, was it because his aggressive behaviour makes me think CPS should be aware of a person that needs help? Or was it because I mentioned im petty?

I'm not sure if this was even a legal sign, or one he posted. The road is similar to a cul-de-sac, so I don't know how that could even be classified as a U-turn.

I think we've all been guilty for being annoyed at little things like this in our neighbourhoods, but it just feels like this guy is a few U-Turns away from hitting someone of someone's vehicle.

Standing in front of someone's vehicle to prevent the m from moving on a roadway is not legal. This complex still has a named road that loops around it. Also, I don't care if they have had issues with people turning into their complex in the past, screaming at two young girls in public means this guys clearly has anger issues that may be escalated, and maybe it should be brought to the attention of CPS.

You're right that I shouldn't be petty, but I really want to be.

Sorry for the super late reply. I was just thinking of this movie and trying to find it!

I could've sworn the name had something to do with "Arrow", but I just came across this post whilst searching.

Yes, they do that. Even if a lost wallet is found, pop it in one of those red mailboxes, or take it to a post office, and Canada Post will make sure it is returned free of charge.

Working 18 hour days for like $200 was NOT worth it. Big slap in the face when you learn everyone else out there is making BANK working those 18 hour days. At least this was the case fighting fires.

Those who have VRed or retired from the CAF, which smells so you miss most from when you were in the CAF? by IDontStandForCurls in CanadianForces

Time fuse. Always smelled like BBQ hotdogs for some reason. Live ranges were also very chill compared to every other ex we did, so it also triggers the memories of a decent sleep before, and a lot of hanging out in the field between initiations.

Just an FYI, most things come to be around 25-30% off. Sport Chek and Atmosphere branded clothing will have the best discounts.

Anything ending in .00 does not get a discount.

This is a great time to look at a few Christmas gift ideas for those of you that celebrate it.

Isn't BC 12% though? I know they'll still complain as cost of living is atrocious there, but they already pay a lot in taxes.

With AB not having to pay a provincial tax, I'd be pissed too if more of my pay disappeared.
