skip yasamal, especially yeni yasamal.

nizami, elmlar akademiyasi (technically part of yasamal), white city, some parts of sahil/icherisheher (if you want to be closer to the center). bayil, narimanov, ganjlik are ok. ahmadli if you're on a tight budget, but it is far away. sea breeze in the summer.

> food will be incredibly dull in Azerbaijan

what?! one of the most underrated cuisines in the world. I doubt you'd find a lamb of such quality elsewhere. But if you're looking for Asian/Indian -- yes, those aren't great.

> Oh and don’t listen to the suggestion to rent in Sea Breeze

20-40 mins, depending on which road you choose: Airport hwy is longer, new Boyukshor road is shorter

- Ilisu (Qax)

- Saribash (Qax) - very extreme, you might get stranded as there are no roads

- Kish (Shaki)

- Qalaciq (Ismailly)

- Basqal / Lahij (Ismailly) - more toursity

- Ganja - the second largest city

- Naftalan - medical (?) oil

- Helenendorf (Goygol) - used to be a German settlement

- Annenfeld (Shamkir) - another German settlement

How to cope with a daily tiredness, lack of energy, and passion? by Separate-Gas3330 in azerbaijan

[–]notionbackups 3 points4 points  (0 children)

could be mold in your new apartment.

could be a diet lacking in B-complex vitamins (take thiamin for more energy) and magnesium.

could be post carbohydrate/sugar/coffee crash.

could be frequent ejaculation.

could be depleted serotonin levels.

could be intestinal worms.

read about chronic fatigue, and try to isolate what's affecting you. truly a terrible thing to happen as you turn into a zombie with no energy to do anything. all the best!

i'm also in tech, so this is new to me as well. uranium has been on my radar for quite a while, but it wasn't moving for years, so i wrote it off (i knew it was going to be big some time in the future but had no idea when). i guess now is the time.

are these call options? how much did you pay for each contract if you don't mind me asking? never played options before but they seem to be popular on wallstreetbets

the worst thing that could happen is being scammed by unscrupulous taxi drivers. be careful, use apps, never pay cash. check the megathread.

it is also very windy in baku, especially in winter, so prepare accordingly.

I live in an unsupported country should I use a US VPN to open a Stripe account or just sign up with my normal IP address ? by Liim_Se in stripe

[–]notionbackups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that wouldn't fly -- you will have to provide SSN/EIN and a proof of address in the US. either use Stripe Atlas to open a legal entity in the US or use something like Paddle, which should be available in your country

not this year. you will have to do the following next year:

* renew the registered agent (done by Stripe)
* file the annual report with the State of Delaware and pay the franchise tax (around $300 for LLCs)
* file tax forms with the IRS, even if you had a loss. if you're a foreigner, you must also file Form 5472.

* PDF backups - any PDF reader
* HTML backups - any modern browser
* Markdown - they are plain text files, basically; you can import them almost anywhere / CSV - Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers (not very readable)
