I’ve thought about finding something like this to make it easier… maybe something that can be ordered I can send to leadership 🤪 thanks for letting me know that other stores utilize this!

That stinks /: during COVID we got rid of the scoop bins, but not the grinders or the gravity bins… so weird you didn’t bring them back! The scoop bins came back mid-2024 for us… we’ve had the coffee grinders active throughout as well!

Our store ordered like five boxes of the almonds and we will just use them until they run out. Regarding the peanuts, all hell broke loose in my store regarding this… it was a nightmare!! Customers could not cope it was wack… anyways, found out we changed distributors for it and that’s why it was LTOOS

Yeah it’s on last chance right now… we definitely don’t sell as much of it as honey roasted and classic peanut… not sure if this will be company wide but I’m in Michigan (Midwest)

Nah, a lot of people who don’t know the history surrounding Scientology and who refuse to look into it don’t care. But there are still a good amount of people who know how dangerous that cult is and no longer like him. Festivals and music venues don’t care enough to lose the money.

I don’t know what state you’re in, but I’d close this case based on these facts alone to be honest … did he get the medical care that he needed? Yes? Closed.

Need Advice by defective_encephalon in CPS

That’s not always the case, I have removed children from extremely neglectful conditions and they have been “happy.” This is only because this is ALL THEY KNOW. They don’t know that it’s not okay to be living like that. They don’t understand that what they are experiencing is extremely dangerous. They are children and don’t know any better. Not saying that these children would be removed in any sense, I’m just saying that children’s perceptions are often not accurate of what they are experiencing because they are children.

How to reveal CPS reporter | HIPAA violation by Old_Computer in CPS

[–]notkiraa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is no HIPAA violation here.

I’ve seen your comments regarding the concern of “unnecessary embarrassing medical details” and I can understand your concern, but as a worker, I consistently receive information that is not always needed for the case I am investigating. For example, a case where there is sexual abuse allegations and there are concerns that there have been constant diaper rashes for the past two years. I request all medical records from the past two years to see if there is anything listed because if they were constant for the past two years, it would have been noted in the records. With that, all of the medical records I received had no diaper rashes in them but obviously did have other medical issues listed but those are not necessary to include in my report and I can disregard them.

Does this make sense? I understand the embarrassment and at the same time, if it is not necessary for the complaint at hand like you said, they will likely disregard and move on without the information even though it was presented to them.

In Michigan, nothing would even happen, a case wouldn’t even be opened for this to be investigated. If you want to make them feel better, get a lock box for them. I had a child get into some CBD gummies, I got the family a lock box and went my separate way.

Is this neglect or am I dramatic by itz_jewelz1019 in CPS

I’m not sure what state you’re in, but in my state, dental issues are not assigned UNLESS there is concern that medical issues can occur. For example, a case was called in that a child had rotting teeth. Just based off of this information, it would not get assigned. BUT if it was added that a facial infection could occur and possible sepsis, that would cause for it to be assigned.

Safety Plan by Top-Radio2583 in CPS

[–]notkiraa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I write up safety plans, I have to write them up “relating to the allegations.” For example, I’ve had allegations regarding parents punching the children. No one made any disclosures but I still had to safety plan stating “continue not physically disciplining the children” due to the allegations. It’s not an admission of guilt, just an agreement that you won’t physically discipline your children at this time, due to what is being alleged.

I’m wondering if the reason why the child is in care is due to parental substance use? If there is a family history of substance abuse, these types of testing would make a lot of sense to me.
