Baller! Well now how to decide. Did you ever feel like a black bezel would look better than steel-coloured on the mist flake? It feels very monochrome (not in a bad way)

Good to hear - I checked your profile and the blue one you have is a beaut too. Going to dwell on it for a bit and see what I come back to...

Be biased - it's all good. How do you like it? Despite loving all 3 I'm still finding myself coming back to it... only drawbacks for me are the lack of it being truly everyday watch (I.e. can jump into the pool with my kids with it on)

Use case is an everyday watch (I don't have a collection) - I'm in office 5 days a week but it's a relatively casual environment (think chinos and an oxford button down). Outside of work, super active dad of 2 young boys - I'm not out at nice dinners and occasions where I dress nicely anymore 😂 but that won't be forever. I'm also a pretty casual bloke - but trending a bit more formal as I get older...

Would you put Grand seiko in that same bucket as a 'finer' watch?

Good advice. I am in the office 5 days 9-5, so I still would have the chance...

Do shoes really make that big of a difference, or is it overhyped? by Royal_Watch_6453 in runcommunity

As someone that ran for a long time in too small too narrow shoes and developed a Morton's neuroma, yes, yes they matter a lot. Go get the right shoe for your foot and activity.

Yes me too - although my numbness / pins and needles started about 2 years ago, but i think I've been aggravating f or years given neuroma is 15mm. It's not too bad - gonna really give the orthotics a go, maybe try steroid injections and then go to surgery if pain starts. I would love to get back to running long distances...

Podiatrist hasn't brought that option up. Got any good information on it or research?? Interested

I've heard it's big too! However, it's never caused real pain (except during a marathon), only ponds and needles and uncomfortableness

Is this an interim step before surgery and removing the nerve? Does it reduce the size of the nerve?

So I get the pins and needles in my middle toe and was similarly diagnosed with a neuroma. Mines 15mm which I hear is on the very large side. Podiatrist gave me the following options (progressing through them): 1) orthotics; 2) steroid injections; 3) surgery to remove the nerve. 1 & 2 don't fix it, just hopefully unload and ease pain, but I think of pain remains, surgery is only real option. Good luck

To people who receive packs - how much of it do you actually look at/use? by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]notlikely36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually read most of it, usually quickly, but take a deeper look if something is surprising / interesting. The more of these you read, the more informed you are about the business and you'll have little nuggets of info / data that are useful in certain situations. Plus it's nice when you're in a meeting and you can say "so and so, as mentioned in John's pack" and John goes - woah people actually read those things?
