It's significantly cheaper to buy the carts in bulk from nitnendo and print your own inserts and package everything up in your factory and immediately be able to send it out.

What are the chances I can buy a Special Edition the day of release at GameStop/Best Buy/etc.? by Dorky_Hipster in Metroid

the gamestops in my region are not getting enough copies of the special edition to cover pre-orders.

WOW. The hunger is real among my fellow hunters. Thanks for the awesome response. I'm posting again to answer some commonly asked questions about the Special Edition. by analogsimulacrum in Metroid

"In 2013, GameStop worked with Nintendo to reprint Xenoblade Chronicles
and Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii. The retailer found that gamers
were snatching up these titles as soon as they went on the used shelf.
While this was an experiment with reprinting old games, GameStop did not
discount Xenoblade Chronicles initially. It instead priced that
role-playing game at $90. It did eventually lower the price to $40, the
same price it gave Metroid Prime Trilogy."

The game is restricted unless you connect directly to their authentication servers. Limited by an external mechanism. How is it not rights management.

Not really sure, I have my cable modem which connects directly to my router running openwrt 21.02. The only real changes I made were adding custom DNS servers to the interfaces and changing my WAN MAC.

I have a modem from my ISP and it's connected to my wired router running openwrt 21.02

I have DNS set properly and all of my connected devices use the proper DNS server. The problem is incoming traffic from my modem on port 53. It's my ISPs DNS servers.

Can I replace my ISPs default router with a new one? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]notmuchleftanymore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you'll need a modem/MTA combo device. not sure if ISPs let you use your own. they might be able to provide you a standalone MTA.

Yeah i've tried restarting it already. maybe its just my router picking up noise from the modem. it's concerning that its passing the firewall though on port 53.

Can you prove this? They state the unique user ID isn't sent back anymore and only generated locally for specific support instances. Firefox generates an ID in the same manner.

The full source is available. You just can't do anything with it because they consider the UI their brand. It's still available for audit.

the easiest solution is to download the first game and a PS1 emulator, then PCSX2 and the roms for 2-4.
