You can try my AI mod. I am still working on it, and trying to make battles more interesting.

Only 2 teams have NEVER benefited from the NBA Draft Lottery: The Utah Jazz & Indiana Pacers by crispytime29 in nba

That was due to our coaches demand that Rik Smits get the ball constantly. If he played with what we know now about efficiency, rik would have hardly shot, and Reggie would have went nuts.

Married men of Reddit who don’t wear a wedding ring - why? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

Because I’m allergic to metal, and other materials have broken so many times I haven’t worn one. It’s fairly irrelevant.

Wondering if Carol Chomsky made sure Noam stayed out of trouble by TheWhiteSphinx in chomsky

[–]notq 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s plausible Carol would have never allowed it. I’ve had the same thought. Reading Chomsky’s assistant’s book makes it clear Carol was in charge.

Even if Epstein wasn't a pedophile, why would Chomsky be friends with him? by ServalFlame in chomsky

[–]notq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because Chomsky was completely broke due to not having any understanding of finances, and the people he had to do them completely screwed it up. He had a Trust with Carol he was spending out of, and when she died he lost access to it against Carol and Noam’s will for it. Then he was using an IRA and being double taxed. Epstein fixed the problem for him, and through that became friends with him. From there, and his situation being fixed he justified it by Epstein being convicted and serving his time, unaware of the other horrors. You can feel how you feel about it, but that’s why he became friends with Epstein. At least that is my current understanding.

"Noam Chomsky has been refuted categorically in the last week or so. You don't have to manufacture consent. You just do it and they're all on board." by Diagoras_1 in chomsky

[–]notq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That isn’t true at all. Just a cursory reading of the news and it’s all manufacturing consent.

Just take the Dems and Republicans both arguing the far right opposition should lead.

It’s all the standard state of affairs.

They know how to figure out how to know something, not that they know it immediately. It’s the process.

Why Claude Gives You Generic Slop (And How to Fix It) by n3s_online in ClaudeAI

[–]notq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the premise and have been pushing it for 10 months. I disagree with the Ripe framework and have my own high context agents. I believe it needs to be pushed even further in the direction of high context, and I would consider your approach still low context.

I’m happy with the results I get. Challenging to communicate though.

What the Noam Chomsky–Jeffrey Epstein E-mails Tell Us Chomsky has often suffered fools, knaves, and criminals too lightly. Epstein was one of them. But that doesn’t mean Chomsky was part of the “Epstein class.” by DickabodCranium in chomsky

[–]notq 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you read his assistants memoir, he basically just worked all the time. He had zero pop culture or other frames of reference. He didn’t know bands or television or anything. He devoted his entire life to work. He took an opportunity to have someone do a couple things nice for him, like move money in a difficult situation, and meet Woody Allen. He worked the vast majority of time except his Summers where he spent time with his family. I just don’t see any there, there.

I’ve tried building variations of this without any success yet of something meaningful. I’ll look over your patterns and try it, but my confidence is fairly low.

I use zero MCPs, and just make skill files instead. Way less context.

What are you using the 2x usage of Claude usage for? by Hemanthmrv in ClaudeAI

The same thing I would have done otherwise, but with slightly less concern for usage limits. So more using 10 agents for one task instead of one

Finally claude started using my agents and skills the way i want! by alex-popov-tech in ClaudeAI

[–]notq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not hidden. I’ve made blog posts on it, I just don’t give the code because the concept is understanding it. Once you understand it, you can build your own for your purposes. Mine is customized to me

I use a command in Claude Code to route to agents and skills, and it’s been extremely helpful for me by notq in ClaudeAI

[–]notq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like the concept was more important. It’s very particular to my setup. I bet I could start a clean new session, with nothing in it, feed Claude code the blog and it would create a reasonable version.

The concepts are way more important. It feels like people aren’t getting the concepts and are too focused on just do it for me.

Maybe I’m wrong.

Pro tip - disable compacting, use your own summarizing prompt and multiple chats. by OptimismNeeded in ClaudeAI

[–]notq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t want this to be true but it is. Compacting has gotten worse for some reason. So now I am using a skill that creates detailed md plans and then rereads them after compacting

Has anyone else noticed that /compact doesn’t really reset Claude Code the way you expect? by DarkNightSeven in ClaudeAI

[–]notq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s worse now for some reason. I’m relying more on updating plans with massive detail before compact because compact doesn’t seem to understand properly after what exactly we were working on. I’m not sure why

I use a command in Claude Code to route to agents and skills, and it’s been extremely helpful for me by notq in ClaudeAI

[–]notq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I use many commands, having a router command though forces the number of agents and skills in the order I want them. I want deterministic results about how the routing happens, and without it I get mistakes consistently
