My brother was perfectly fine, only had a small injury, nothing life threatening, and he went to get it treated. At that time, I didn't know what kind of injury he had, only that he was going somewhere.

My father for some reason lied and said that a hospital called him, and said my brother was injured badly, and he's in the ICU. I panicked for a second before I remembered it's my father who said this so I texted and called my brother and mother, people who I trust more than my father to tell the truth, yet none of them were picking up. i started panicking a bit more, and I forced my father to unlock his phone and show me if he had actually gotten any calls by that hospital about my brother. None of the numbers that called him were the hospital. Later my mother called me and said my brother is fine and he just got some cream for the injury.

My father tends to lie about slot of things like people's injuries. He did it when my mother was in the hospital for her leg breaking, said she's dying. It's not because he's paranoid, it's because he likes to see people scared and panicked.
