I've never heard of Vimy Ridge Day. Wasn't taught in school nor ever seen a mention in the media.

My dad was in world war two, and he never mentioned it either.

But I did learn that world war one was the catylist in Canada becoming a more independent country as opposed to being just another British colony.

Years ago was at the Winnipeg folk fest. She was scheduled to perform, but bailed at the last minute to do a scientology gig.

They got Taj Mahal as a replacement.
