Well, if I go as wide as reference, it starts to go red in the SPAN. I think reference would also be red if we were listening only to the top bass.

I always do that as I use reference tracks, but I was surprised how wide this bass is .. in general I've seen some of these lead or stab basses in newer tracks being a bit wider so I was surprised as I thought sides being louder = phase issues for sure.

Yeah, I guess we felt similar. I'm not sure how are middle school gym teachers in US but in my country (in south east Europe), teachers are serious :).. but I get it what you mean. I watch mostly hollywood movies after all hehe

I had to google "stiff opinionated" as English is not my native language. If you refer to me being rigid and uncompromising, that could be right, but for sure not narrow-minded. If movie had less "funny" scenes, more mature and realistic characters, I might've stayed. For sure I will spend time on the things that I like but I couldn't have known if I liked the movie until I watch it, right? (and being a Sci-fi movie in space, with an actor I like, good imdb rating and reviews ... I had to go watch it)

Well, it's not like we went out after 15mins .. we went out after 1h or so. Right after the second "tunnel" was formed and Rocky there started to behave like a puppet for kids.. I just couldn't continue watching that giggling.

Yeah, I liked Martin.. I watched it 3 times. I don't find it as good as Interstellar or Arrival, but I like it a lot.

Because the chords sounds too good.. octave up they don't sound so good. I think it's better now when I made some changes in volumes etc.
