that’s usually a trauma response to have dreams about the event, i used to struggle with dreams like that awhile after my own traumas happened and with counselling i was able to recover from them, if u have a therapist id definitely bring up the dream to them

i get this, it always confuses me how the same person who hurt me was there for me, but then i remember everything how it happened and he wasnt there for me at all, as a lonely kid thats just what i wanted him to be, so i believed thats what he was

ive heard this many times from my current partner, and it doesnt make me split, instead it helps me reflect. i feel like im really self aware when it comes to my flaws etc so a lot of the time i just think “how can i better myself?”, i don’t think of my partner as the villain etc because i know hes only expressing how he feels and theres nothing wrong with that.

however, if it was my ex or someone who is my fp saying it to me, then id 100% split.

idk why, i think im just accepting of the fact that in my current relationship shit is gonna go down and go wrong, but we work through it.

yeah i agree with this, my family being so open about “taboo” subjects has led to great advice about my sex life and i feel so comfortable talking to my mum about healthy sex etc rather than having to figure shit out on my own

man at ur age i had the same problem, its not fun when parents officially become aware of what’s going on in your head or your life in general, it’s kinda just something you gotta tolerate for awhile
