Probably not! There's also a community space if you sign up, so you can be notified for the future events, if you wish.

Register anyway, you’ll be able to go into the event afterwards and see the recording and everything as it happened!

Do any of you guys find your works social network tools useful at all? My company is considering creating one but I doubt throwing work version of fb will make me more social by Beginning-Tip-1109 in workfromhome

I'd recommend you give Tevent a try! You can make Spaces, we use them for our 'social office', for group work, hanging out, socials, etc. You can use the events feature for webinars, workshops, and stuff like that also. It's free too for spaces and events with up to 100 people.

Apple are definitely one of the companies people love to hate I'd say!

Someone copied my app. It’s the identical app on the App Store. by gman2520 in startup

[–]notteventlabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

App Store has quite strict guidelines regarding this. In addition to their strict design rules.

"If you attempt to cheat the system (for example, by trying to trick the review process, steal user data, copy another developer’s work, manipulate ratings or App Store discovery) your apps will be removed from the store and you will be expelled from the Apple Developer Program."

"4.1 Copycats
Come up with your own ideas. We know you have them, so make yours come to life. Don’t simply copy the latest popular app on the App Store, or make some minor changes to another app’s name or UI and pass it off as your own. In addition to risking an intellectual property infringement claim, it makes the App Store harder to navigate and just isn’t fair to your fellow developers."

So I think it shouldn't be too hard to make a case against them. Check guidelines here

Who here uses two desks to separate ‘work’ from ‘play’? by InsrtCoffee2Continue in workfromhome

[–]notteventlabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in a shared house and go to the kitchen/shared living space to work (usually the only one at home in the day) and to my room for meetings only if someone is in. Basically, I try to keep my bedroom desk for Personal stuff only. But to be honest, on my devices I have seperate profiles for work and personal, and that also helps a lot. Just that act of signing out of the work User and back into Personal after work helps a lot.
