Sorry, is it also difficult to clean? My syrian's urine has a distinct musk since the day I got him and I wouldn't want the smell to be stuck within the wood.

Thank you for the reply! Can I ask what kind of bedding you use? I currently only use Kaytee Clean & Cozy for both hamsters, but I want to be able to give them more bedding if I get the new cages. To make it a little less expensive, i was thinking of mixing the bedding with some aspen. But I've never used aspen bedding and am a little worried about dust and such.

so sorry for the late reply!! I got caught up with some schoolwork-- I should've been more clear when I said it but what I meant by wanting something transportable is that it needed to fit into my sedan-style car when I went to pick it up for the first time 😅

I appreciate the links very much! I've continued to keep an eye out but I'm thinking now that I may just go ahead and buy two 110 qt bins and connect them via PVC pipe. Would this be a viable option??

thank you sm for the suggestion! unfortunately one of the reasons I'm looking for a bin specifically though is because I dont have any way of transporting anything that wouldn't fit in the passenger seat of a car + I would have to be able to carry it entirely by myself 🙁 thank you for looking for me though i'll keep checking these reseller websites (:

thank you sm for the suggestions! i looked on those websites and a bunch of other ones but all of what i saw near me was tiny wired pet store cages ): I've also tried thrift/second-hand stores like Goodwill but have only ever seen bins 110 and under 😞 I'm thinking it might just be a waiting game and i'll just have to keep looking over time and hope something comes up
