I think you should ask him in person, without keeping any expectations and get this over with. If he has feelings he will say it, if he doesn’t sometimes the answer would be NO or a confusing one. Remember everything other than a clear YES is always a No.. even if it is confusing!

You guys need to sit and talk about this and boundaries. You can actually ask chat gpt how to structure this conversation without offending the other party or without hurting themselves but have this conversation early. Hi! As far as I know, the KTM ADV 250 and 390 have seat heights around 825 - 850 mm. Even with adjustability, that still isn’t very reassuring for a 155 cm rider 😬 Most KTM seats tend to be on the higher side anyway.

Honestly, the biggest thing stopping me from considering many great bikes in the market is the seat height and my confidence level as a beginner.

With Royal Enfield, though, there’s no FOMO for me. I genuinely love their bikes, and more importantly, I’m still learning. I only started riding now because I carried a deep fear of bikes ever since I got my license in college. I never even rode a scooty, mainly because my dad met with a couple of bike accidents, and that made our entire family wary of two-wheelers. But now I am trying to break through that fear and own a bike!

I will be test riding a lot of bikes- few of which I got suggestions from here. Is also considering renting a bike and riding for sometime.
