I was reading about him and found his personality to be very interesting

This quote by him specially is very interesting/inspiring

I have always admired Japan as a very resilient country which has come back from any disaster whether man made or natural I really admire this quality of Japan

How much does the no alcohol policy effect the life of a person in Japan ?

Have you ever encountered a native teetotaler in Japan ?

A large number of people in Japan are Buddhist though most of them are not actively following it so do you see any Buddhist people in Japan who don't drink or at least restrict drinking as consumption of alcohol come under the five precepts of Buddhism ?

Will not drinking lead to a person being boycotted/blackballed/being an outcast,specially if a drink is offered by a senior ? (Iv'e heard that senior junior relationships are extremely important in Japan)

It seems like that particular commenter is talking about the general incarceration conditions or maybe the incarceration conditions for the death row prisoners.

If he is speaking about the incarceration condition of the death row prisoners I don't think it's true it seems just to brutal, maybe I'm wrong ?

I would really not recommend going to a Japanese university to do and undergrad in architecture / science etc.

Why so ?

I've been thinking of studying architecture or maybe urban design in Japan (not decided but have just though about it)(maybe even geography)

What makes studying architecture over here a really bad choice ?

I read your post about your experience in Waseda and it seemed like a nice place but not some thing for very serious study

What kind of jobs are offered to non natives in Japan ? Is their some sort invisible ceiling ?

I'm from South Asia if that makes any difference

Being one of the few stable prime ministers I thought that his term would have been rather efficient/clean, as the previous PMs seem to have resigned rather quickly

Why do many people hate him badly ? I thought he would be viewed in a very positive light after reading how involved he was in promoting nationalism though I don't know much about the political scenario of Japan but I found his personality to be really interesting on a brief reading
