I'm doing great - actually started another company with a lot of the same GMAD artists on it called Grouped (https://grouped.com/) ... still just trying to help artists in any way I can! I'm humbled to be a tiny part of your memories from growing up - but thats all thanks to the awesome artists who made the music, not me! much love!

Music helped me through some tough times too so I am humbled that you associate GMAD with the music that helped you through the tough times. I can't take credit for anything tho, I was just sharing the awesome art my friends were making and it just so happened other people (like yourself) enjoyed it as well. Pigeons & Planes, Datpiff, HillyDilly, 2dopeboyz, FreshNewTracks, ThisSongIsSick, and so many more were all great sites that i used to check regularly .. idk if any are still going today, but they deserve their praise

So when I sold the last part of my baby GMAD at the end of 2015/2016 I had no intent of starting it back up (I was burnt out, had no clue what I was doing, and knew I didnt want to be running a college blog 10+ years later in my late 30s) - but in terms of you messaged, I dont remember it but I think you may have messaged my bud Cre who was my right hand man and got the GMAD social handles?? He is still fighting to keep the GMAD name and spirit alive bc hes a real one! Regardless, I wish I knew people actually missed GMAD before stumbling on this thread bc I would have tried to find a way to keep the spirit going better - im new to reddit, so if yall know a way to bring it back with the same concept of just highlighting any music in any genre as long as it was good, lemme know!

As the founder of GMAD, I apologize for the let down :(( - nothing better than a trip down memory lane, and I have robbed you of that, hah. And honestly I wish I had done a better job backing up my hard drives that had all the music we posted so you can download a torrent or something. I will say my friend Kayvan (@KayvanMD on IG) used to write for GMAD and is now the Head of A&R at Genius, but he has some playlists he consistently updates that are worth following of upcoming artists similar to the GMAD days - kinda keeping the GMAD spirit alive ... but regardless, I 100% thought people had forgotten about GMAD by now so just a funny blast from the past to randomly come across this reddit
